Fulmer is the master of coup d'etat. He has done it twice.

It rolls up the Bammers so hard to see Phil in charge again

Oh yeah. It really irritates me that he killed the Leach deal. Leach, who was the only legitimate candidate (unlike Gruden) that might have won a lot of games at UT. Then, to hire a guy that has never even been a high school head coach is even more concerning to Alabama fans.

I think Tennessee can climb back up a few spots on the ladder with Pruitt if he will let his assistants do their job. I don’t doubt he will recruit pretty good. It is going to take time to get everything in place like he wants it, but they will need to be patient. Then you also have to worry about PF sticking his nose in everyone’s business besides his own. I just don’t know if the people in control up there will give Pruitt enough time to get everything in place. Nothing against Pruitt, but with everything going on in that department they needed to hire an already somewhat proven head coach.

The comment above is not bashing you guys at all. We (OM) are in a situation where our coach needs to keep his nose out of the assistants business and let them do their job.
Anyways good luck to y’all. SEC is fun when most teams are playing at a high level.

I said it the day the university hired and put Fulmer back on the payroll with some shite job description of asst. to the university president that before it's over Fulmer would be in the ADs chair. It happened quicker than I thought.

Good to see Fulmer step back into the chow line at Tennessee and stab folks in the back. Seems like the old days.

Fulmer hired him, and put him in place. He'll make sure he has everything he can to succeed as a part of the Fulmer legacy. Just like Hart cut Dooley after 2.5yrs to give jones 5yr. We could have kept Dooley to be in the same spot, and save half the amount per year.

Biggest factor/issue UT has is the Legion of the Miserable. Fulmer needs to put these fans, and travis in check for being a penis face UT poser fgt.

Pruitt has the pedigree to be a good coach, no telling what his ceiling is, and he will recruit good players. Leach might have made a bigger splash but his ceiling is 8 wins on average, and when he leaves you're stuck with players that fit his Air Raid offense.

Vols are on Texas tech and wazzu level now?

As long as that fat bastard Fulmer is involved in UT athletics, you will flounder in mediocrity thanks to his meddling, overbearing hand. I hate to see an SEC rival held hostage by a megalomaniac but only UT can fix it. Good luck, Vols, you're gonna need it.
