I saw them stop play because of the water bottle. I didn't know that it actually hit an Alabama player in the back. Could have been dangerous.

How do you know a Texas fan threw the bottle?
It was very likely a limp-wristed Bama fan who tried but couldn't throw far enough to hit a Texas player.

I say this as a person who doesn’t really get worked up by the actions of a few idiots, and also thinks UT will immediately own their state again the second they join the conference (hell, maybe they already do): UT fans on Saturday didn't seem like they are quite ready for primetime.

Yeah. I’m sure that’s what happened. Just let an Alabama fan stroll right on in with the Texas students that were lined up at the gate before 7 am for the game.
