I can see an upset especially playing there.

Just curious I am not pulling for 1 team or the other just getting my parlays together.

Texas is better. The better team doesn’t always win this game. I wouldn’t bet it. Jmo.

The game is played at the Cotton Bowl with a split ticket allotment.

Cautiously optimistic.

Do not use Texass /OU in a parlay…. Ever. Coin toss even when one team is heavily favored.

I think that Texas is very, very good and balanced across the board on both sides of the ball. I don't really know how good Oklahoma is yet due to their schedule.

I gamble on just about everything and I am not touching this one. I like our chances because I think we're better at the line of scrimmage but I am struggling to get a feel for how good this OU team is. I also think losing by 49 last year will have Oklahoma even hungrier than usual in this one.

Gun to my head, Texas covers. Not sure I would include it in a parlay though.

I’ll give you a different answer.. the last time that I was this confident in winning this game..

we lost by 49 fricking points.. and no i’m not even kidding.. the year was 2000 and Texas had a good team and OU was unproven.. but undefeated..

63-14 and then they went on to win the NC

You just don’t know in this game.

My head says 35-24 Texas.
My heart says 56-0 Texas.

OU does a lot of things that could give Texas some problems..specifically the deep ball. We will give up 1-2 long scores I believe. The rest of the game is where we find out how good we are.

Interesting Stat (that I don’t really like)

In Big 12 play, this is the 6th time that Texas and OU have rolled into the Cotton Bowl undefeated. Brent Venables was the DC in the other 5 games. Now he is the HC.

Oklahoma is 4-1 in those other games, including shutting out VY and 2004 Texas 12-0. I’m still not sure how that happened (thanks Greg Davis).. anyhow.. but that was a Stoops team, and Stoops would have never lost 49-0 last year..

I personally think BV is in over his head, but he can coach defense and Lebby is a good OC.. but this is the best Texas team in a long arse time.

I truly don’t know what’s going to happen.. the emotions in this game play such a huge role.. both teams have talent.

Since it’s a coin flip in my head. if I was betting, I would probably always take the underdog plus the points.

I'm more concerned about beating them again in December.

Just about every talking head in the media is in love with Texas. Gut tells me OU is still rebuilding and about a year away from replenishing what we lost when TBWO F'd us.
That said, this game the underdog has nothing to lose and often times wins because they play free. Pressure is on Texas, should be a great game.

I said before the season started.. on here.. that it was going to be our best team since 2008 or 2009. I think we might be better than both of those teams. So yeah.. it says a whole lot. We will find out soon.

I can say that Texas live and in person was extremely impressive. Physically, mentally, how well coached they were, how explosive they were. We didn't play a great game but we competed pretty hard and Texas just refused to let go of the football game. That's a damn good team.

Kansas +2 at home vs UCF

I have no idea why Kansas is a dog to UCF at home.

Arizona +21 @ USC

Arizona gave UDub some problems and USC defense isn’t all that good. Imagine that.

Texas should win and cover, but as others have said the reason this is, in my obviously biased opinion, truly the greatest rivalry in college football is that is the one in which you can truly throw records/talent/everything out the window. Bad Texas teams have beaten really good and even great OU teams in this game, and vice versa. I can't think of another big college FB rivalry with this same dynamic.
