Texas plays Texas A&M -- Aggie will be same
Tennessee plays Alabama -- Bama will be better

Georgia -- Same or worse.
Oklahoma - Has to get better
Florida - Probably worse next year
Vanderbilt - Same
Kentucky - Probably same
Miss State - Better next year
Arkansas - Better next year with Petrino as HC

How is Texas at fault for their conference schedule? I understand they selected their non con schedule and as it ended up played the defending national champion at their house. Its not Texas' fault that Mich, UF, OU, MSU all suck this year. All Texas can do is play the team that's on their schedule that the SEC selected for them.

there are 9 ranked SEC teams.

Pretty good for any conference.

You’ve played 1 and you lost.

Again, our fault everyone in this league sucks? This is all new to us as we have historically been told that there are no easy SEC schedules. You all are basically ragging on the SEC with these posts which is fine by us who never bought the "SEC grind" shite anyway.

Haha conference of aggies. Sad but true.

Aggies spent the past two years telling how we were in for a big surprise, while turning the rest of the conference against us. They believed aggies and deserve what they get.

The SEC has done nothing but run Texas down all year which backfired big time. TEXAS is still ranked highly while the rest are seen as second rate wannabes.

The SEC has done nothing but kiss Alabama's arse for years while riding their coat tails. They refuse to do the same with Texas and it has completely exposed them for what they've always been.

Look no farther than the polls. Top 5 consist of The Big10 and Texas.

Please aggies and aggywannabes continue talking about how weak our schedule and how we don't play anyone.

Haha thank your aggie friends for wonderful information they gave you. Too funny, you should have known better than to believe aggy.

Poor aggie and poor sec.

I think one of the most overlooked dynamics of building a conference to the size of 16 and beyond is that you really open yourself up to huge schedule discrepancies. Prior to this era you would never see a huge variance because teams could only miss 1-2 teams, etc. It is striking when you compare the strongest schedule against the weakest in the SEC, then B1G, etc.

With that being said, Texas is likely to be on the other end of it in two years. Has there been confirmation that in 2026 & 2027 Texas and Oklahoma will swap conference states? Texas will play those instead as well as Ohio State.
Could actually see them having the #1 SOS in 2026 for instance.

We got fortunate with our schedule out of the gate, there’s no question.

Ranked what? The top five is all Big10 and TEXAS. As opposed to it being all SEC while y'all spent all your time riding Bama's coat tails while praising Roll Tide.

Think about how different it would be had Texas gone to the Big10.

Possibly Texas and OU should go to the Big10, I'm betting the Big10 wouldn't spend all their time talking about how much Texas schedule suck while we kick their asses.

Poor aggie and the little weak SEC.

Wonder if a lot of those teams have anything in common

Games vs Currebtly Ranked teams

Oregon 1
Ohio St 2
Indiana 0
Texas 1
Penn State 1

Record vs currently ranked teams 2-3.
Playing no one seems to help.
who knew.

Divisions, beyotches.

I'm tired of hearing about this. We want divisions. It was your legacy SEC schools that wanted this 16-team pile up, because they thought it favor their schools.

They weren't counting on Texas.

So let's have divisions.

We joined this conference for many reasons, but one reason was because we believed it was a tough conference and iron-sharpens-iron. And now we hear, it was all a lie. What a shame!
