Coach Mack Brown has the team leading his division.
Quarterback Shane Buchele is undefeated and is leading his team to a high ranking.
Oh..that’s right..UT ran them off.
Lol..the real Texas is back to being the 4 fourth ranked team in a third rate conference.

Just wait. It will get even better in the next few weeks. Texas still has to play against both KSU and BU. And ISU will be a challenge for such a mentally weak team as well

They will be lucky to finish above 7-5 at this point

They should have lost to Kansas, granted Miles has improved that team quickly

Only reason to read TexAgs these days is the "Horn Tears" thread. It's a nonstop riot, especially on days like today

Texas should finish in the top ten every season with the resources they have. Had Chicken been right in 2010 and Saban had actually gone to Austin, Texas would have won a lot of hardware. Any top shelf coach could win there. Next season should be at least a big 12 championship for Texas and Herman. A bunch of LSU fans should admit fault on missing on the Orgeron comparison to Herman. Many got it wrong. One of those pleasant surprises.

SMU or Baylor might finish the season as the highest ranked college team in the state of Texas...

.......SMU, or Baylor.

Only chance for that is if Riley takes another position in the offseason. Rattler will be the QB next year, with a bevy of 5* receivers. And Texas returns the same putrid defense as well

Not to mention half of their 5* players are contemplating transfer now. They already lost Shepard at OL (where they desperately need talent), and Eagles will be in the portal by the end of the week. I'd also expect a few more de-commits in recruiting. Herman has lost his team

Is it truly accurate that “half of Texas 5* players are contemplating transfer”? That seems like propaganda from a rival.

Herman told all his players that "He owns them" recently, when he lost it in the locker room. Two WR's have been rumored to transfer, one OL is already in the portal, and one of the receivers missed practice this week

They don't really have many 5* players. And less legitimate ones, artificially inflated by the recruiting services

And two of the recruits de-committed this week. Not a good week for Texas

Ok you seem to be way more well informed of the goings on in Austin than I am. David Wooderson needs to start getting shite running right as the propaganda minister of Texas Football.

Baylor's schedule is heavily backloaded. Their games against OU, Texas, WV, and TCU are all still ahead of them, plus a rapidly improving Les Miles coached Kansas team. They might well go 0-5 to finish the year. I don't see them doing better than 2-3 down the stretch, with losses to OU, TCU, and Texas.

SMU on the other hand has already played their toughest games of the season. They might very well finish undefeated.

Do you have a source on that? I'd like to read up on it.

That's the story I got from some Texas boosters - they are trying to figure out if they can fire him without paying a huge buyout.

There was a fight in the locker room after the KU game, some players questioning coaches, etc ... Apparently Herman busted out with that, and the whole locker room got quiet

- Since KU, Shepard showed up in the portal this week (probably A&M)
- Eagles missed practice, rumored portal, and didn't play this week. Didn't really hang out with the team either
- Jake Smith rumored to transfer, with horn mods trying desperately to refute it

Two four star recruits de-committed this last week. The next few weeks should be even better for those that hate the sips
