The amount of easy schedules Texas has been given in multiple sports doesn't seem natural to me.
Its all due to the "leadership" of the SEC, i.e. the SEC membership schools. Like the Rant, the simpletons looked at Texas' recent performance, and slotted them accordingly to the expanded SEC. Too make matters worse, you all took everything you read from the aggie posters here as fact, and convinced yourselves we were two sides of the same coin.

Like the Rant, that leadership failed to recognize the worst period in the history of Texas Football was not representative of the Football Team, the University, or the State.

Now y'all have a better understanding of our peer group.

This is what Texas looks like when they choose to compete with the SEC.

Too bad we screwed up against UGA in the SEC title game in Atlanta would have been nice to go 2/3 for the big sports.

To be fair, “sec sec sec” was just Mizzou fans taunting Kansas after beating them in shooty hoops back in early 2012
The only time I’ve noticed it in person in the past decade was at the B12CG a couple years ago when TU fans did the same to the pokes though that’s not even a rivalry so they were probably just doing it to all the B12 in general. I recall it being a sour exit but don’t know why.
The B12 Commissioner openly stated at a press conference that he wanted TTech to beat Texas in our last B12 Conference game.

Texas destroyed TTech, and destroyed Okie State in the B12 Championship Game. At the trophy presentation, Texas fans sarcastically shouted the SEC chant to keep the asswipe from speaking.

There were plenty of videos of the SEC chant over the past few years. One of the many reasons Texas couldn't wait to get here.

Imagine spending over $50M on all of your athletic programs and all you have to show for it is a regular season baseball championship. You won’t even win the SEC tournament btw.

lol lmao even.

I’d love to know what the spending versus the revenue is and how that compares to what your school brings in and doles out. I’m sure it’s a pretty similar percentage.

First it was you guys aren’t ready for the SEC now it’s you are gifted easy schedules and do less with more.

Maybe the baseball team does well, maybe they don’t. I didn’t expect them to be in the conversation for number 1 in year 1 but you can damn sure know that Schloss put everyone on notice this year. Texas Baseball is on the up and up and isn’t going anywhere.

It's comical that this continues to be the flex from fanbases that didn't even get close to winning anything this year. We just played 30 SEC games but somehow a meaningless (we already have a national seed locked up) single elimination tournament decides whether our SEC title counts? Keep bleeding

You’re literally A&M its first couple seasons in the SEC except you’re somehow even fricking gayer.

Throwing your money around and having absolutely nothing to show for it.
It’s hilarious to watch.

Ole Miss spends a fraction of what Texas spends and won 10 games in football (a push off away from the playoffs) went to the sweet 16 in basketball and will be in the tournament in baseball.

According to the Knight Newhouse Data base, Mississippi athletics had $154.02 million in expenses. Site link below is data base of schools revenue sources and expenditures.
BTW, Texas spends a hell of a lot more than $50 million ol miss poster used.

You missed my point entirely and I agree with your previous response to me.

For the 1000th time it’s not about trophies or banners it’s a fact that Texas ended the regular season as the 1 seed or first in the sec. It’s validation that Texas is SEC ready and can compete in the conference nothing more. That was my point

Beat 3/4 of lsu, ole miss, Tenn, and bama. Keep telling yourself Texas success was only due to schedule after next year, then what will your new excuse be? First it’s every sec team has so much talent that week to week it’s a grind. Now thats clearly not true based on how many of you feel about Texas sec schedule. What will you come up with in 2027?

This is such an odd take. OU you’re better than this. That shitty season last year really messed yall up bad. You are a better historical program than Texas, act like it man.
