Lot of WR's on the list for OU. I'm not that familiar with the OU roster... are most of those key guys or depth chart guys?

OU's top-four returning receivers from last year are all out: Anderson, Farooq, Andrel Anthony and Jayden Gibson.

OU was hoping its top receiver this season, Purdue transfer Deion Burks, would be available for the Texas game.

Brenen Thompson played Red River game as a Texas Longhorn late in the 2022 game. In 2024 it is likely that he will be a starter for Oklahoma in the game.

The freshman WR's have at least gotten reps. But yeah that's our entire 2-deep and now our starting slot WR appears to be out.

My biggest disappointment is Gentry Williams, our best CB, who appears to have shoulders crafted out of Silly Putty.

My lord. That is something like the top 5 pass catchers coming into the season and 2 guys that were considered to be potential starters in the secondary...

OU is in serious trouble on Offense. It looks like this will be the first week of their "real" OL together as a unit, but not sure that will be any help with no one to catch the ball.

There's no reason we should win but I'm going to drink enough to convince myself otherwise especially since the later kickoff time.

That is crazy. And our defensive backfield is the part unit of the defense this year versus last.
Huh? Not sure what you're saying here..

And will probably run routes and catch the ball like he never did in Austin, thats Murphys law kicking in.

OU has been without our top 5 receivers and best back for 2 straight weeks … we get atleast our best back for this game but all top 5 receivers out for 3rd game . We are not using anything as an excuse …. We went to Auburn and won without them . If we can get some more intermediate to deep passing more often this game we have a chance becuase our defense will keep us in it as usual . We didn’t have a very good offense last year either , Gabriel rushed for 120 yards and about 200 passing . Hawkins could very easily do the same thing . The game will come down to turnovers . If OU gets them they will win . If they don’t age as prob will win . Unless our defense is just crazy good .

They don't have any WRs and our DBs were our biggest improvement on defense?
