I guess the guy is right. If aggy could survive the season up to the final regular season game undefeated or untied, it would be the first time since 1992.

Georgia is a good team, and it's still early in the season. But in my opinion a lot of people are still judging them based off of their team from 2 and 3 years ago. Watching this 2024 Georgia team, it is obvious they have offensive struggles, they aren't as dominant as previous years.

I just noticed this thread was called Texas vs Georgia.

Yes. What I see is that Texas is fiercely trending up, and Kirby is just trying to keep Georgia from trending down. Georgia still may be strong enough to overcome Texas this year, but no doubt they are stagnant at current.

Believe me, my intent was not for it to turn into this shitshow.

Blame Archibald.

I agree with this, but I still think Georgia should be slightly favored. They struggled badly at UK, but don't forget what they did to Clemson.

We do this every year, Texas will also learn at some point that losses in the sec are rarely seen, they can come from out of no where.

Georgia is still trending up, trust me

Ask 2022 LSU if you don't believe him.

1) If that was the case we wouldn't be dropping in the polls while still being undefeated.

2) We haven't lost a regular season game in 4 years. We haven't lost to a team not named alabama in like 40-something games. Fair or not, these teams are mentally going to get kinda lumped in since we're still continuing this chain/streak that we're on.

of course that's true, I doubt many would disagree. I don't think there are many teams in america better than us though, especially if we are at our best.

Also as a point of reference last yera was also painfully slow out of the gates. First half clunkers in the first 2 games against cupcakes, a plodding closer than it should've been game against a mediocre SC, pulling out a squeaker aginast a shite AU team and a QB who can't throw a forward pass, etc .It wasn't until October, practically halfway through the season, that the switch flipped and we got ourselves together and played at a high level the rest of the way. My main point being...the team that shows up in Austin is likely not going to look anywhere close to the one that was in lexington.

100% agree.. Georgia struggles sometimes early in the season..

ESPN has lost their minds however..

Per ESPN Analytics Alabama 67% chance to Beat Georgia

That is not a good stat for Alabama. Kirby will use that.

eh, I mean based on recent history I don' think that's outlandish. They have probably the most talented top to bottom roster in the country and it's in tuscaloosa at night. We have a lot of question marks and a concerning number of mounting injuries.

Saying that alabama would win that game 2 times out of 3 isn't THAT crazy I don't think .

They have Texas at 70% and Ole Miss at 54%.. I think that's crazy. They do predict y'all to beat TN, but barely.

Well somebody is not getting the memo.

Bama 67% favorite
Texas 70% favorite
Ole Miss 54% favorite

To be fair, I think a lot of people are judging 2024 Texas off destroying a Michigan team that is far from what it was the last couple of years.

So it goes both ways

See, that's the thing, all those are wrong as the information is far too incomplete.....

Diminishing the accomplishment of your own team beating them later this season? I can get onboard with that.

I am just calling it in that they have struggled in all 3 games this year.

OSU needs to beat Michigan or the fans will riot
