Tech is getting the most they can out of what they have I'll grant them that. Lubbock is such a shithole and so far from anything. Congrats on having some rich donors throwing money at NIL and I like your coach. Inevitably though Utah and UH aren't exactly impressing folks in the SEC.

I'll be at the TT v Ku game this weekend. Its a fun time and reminds me of LSU when we were up and coming. Cool vibe.

All that oil money that formerly went to Dallas now stays in Lubbock, Abilene. Those towns look completely different now.

The Friday before the game I'll be drinking French wine and eating Texas beef at a place called the Funky Door.

Legit great job by Tech so far. Cannot be ignored, I agree. You now have to worry about getting too fat by listening to your fat little girlfriends or feasting on too many lightweights. Almost impossible to avoid it.

Not going to ignore that Tech has done this in the past. But you need to worry about your own season collapse before you worry about ours. Aggies have their own issues. This is a new era at Tech. We pulled yet another 5 star recruit this weekend. What Tech has done with NIL will be the model everyone tries to replicate.

Exactly.

Just go ahead and reserve a spot in the 12 team format for Texas Tech. The rest of us are competing for 11 spots now.

I'm impressed with what they have done with the NIL to this point. The game at Utah was a huge wake up call for anyone paying attention, this team is legit. Lubbock not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Sure thing. You came over here to talk about Tech, so I thought an Aggie’s perspective on the B12 could be useful.
Recruiting is only part of the equation.

No doubt I am well aware of the remaining tough games on A&M’s schedule. But if they do handle business, then they’ll be better prepared and ready for the playoffs.

If not, then whoever makes it instead will be ready.

thought this same exact way about Tuscaloosa Alabama but they seemed to make it work

That was while Saban coached. Give it some time.

Oklahoma and Texas has this just a few years ago and they accomplished nothing with it.

If it's truly a cakewalk are they prepared to play the big boys come playoff time? Seems like playing tough teams prepares you for what's coming and it won't be pretty. Might get past a first round game then BOOM! Brick wall.

Was not that impressed with them vs Houston. They played with half a field and kicked a bunch of field goals, couldn’t punch it in. First TD was a total blown coverage. 2nd half Houston was gassed.

So they played poorly but were up double digits at half and held their conference opponent scoreless in the second half of a blowout win?

That's usually the sign of a pretty damn good team.

You are not wrong, they get a cupcake schedule every year and all they have to do is be mediocre to get to the playoffs

But they’ll get beat like a drum in the playoffs every year

They play Kansas this week and I think that’s one of the best teams on their entire schedule

There’s probably less than 10 people in Weat Texas who want to be there. Maybe 2 are TTU students. For the rest, it’s an opportunity to exploit or all they got.

Unless its you jokers then it'd be like the good old B-12 days when we usually beat your overrated and under achieving asses. And yes we did own the B-12 record vs aggy while both were members. Feel free to look it up. And you do barely have the all time W/L getting 5 or 6 straight while we were a start up back in the '30's. Since 1950 not the case.

And no Kansas is not the toughest on our schedule not even close. Typical aggy BS. Bunch of dorks.

I don’t understand why Texas A&M and missouri fans trash the big 12.

They never fricking won it either.

Hey man, we kicked the Big 12's arse in 1998. Even ruined KSU's GOAT season in the process.

My BIL is a TT alum and he said one of their biggest donors donated $28MM to the school to "go get" players.

We can play with anyone on our schedule, but unfortunately, we will lose at least 50% of the games. There is no worse team in close games than us.

I guess it beats our 10-103 stretch though
