His first huge mistake was overlooking the lower tier teams, especially if it’s a rival

Was this thread necessary?

You could just enjoy your win and being ranked in the top 5.

Instead you have to be inviting argument by belittling your remaining schedule.

Something about this thread has chapped a few hides, and I don't get it. There are threads and posts all up and down this forum that are flat out vicious and nasty, yet that seems to be ok.

The element of truth is what pisses people off. You can be an arse all day long and no one cares, it's all good fun. But when you come out with sarcasm laced in TRUTH, well hell, this board is just unreadable.

Many here wanted Texas to suffer and to see how the SEC is just way too much grind for little ol' Texas. It's flat killing people how Texas may damn well win this conference in its inaugural year. I mean the chest beaters and naysayers are just plain nauseous over it.

And so a thread like this thread just jeopardizes the entire decency and readability of the forum?

Never thought I would have to tell the SEC: PULL YOUR PANTIES UP!!

Then, I guess UTx fans should pray they navigate it well.

The question was - why is it necessary for you?

Nothing to do with whether other fanbases are chapped or not.

Why is *what* necessary?

To have some fun on a fan board? Heck, I dunno, why not.

Holy moly, take a chill pill and enjoy something every now and then. This is not life and death.

TexasTards are too stupid to realize that this year's Texas team is not near as good as last year's team. There's a noticeable drop at RB, DL, and the receiving corps. Their schedule will help them a lot, but they will get exposed against Georgia. OU would expose them as well if OU had an offense, but there's no fixing OU's offense this year. It was doomed before the season ever began.

I’m fine. It’s all just trash talk. Not life and death.

Was just curious how shitting on your remaining schedule helps anyone, even your own outlook.

TAMU - Please. Collie Station will be 60% Texas fans that night. DKR East.

At least 85% of that crowd will be Aggies. Kyle Field will set a new record that night. There are around 40k student tickets and almost 51k season ticketholders. Does not leave a lot for teasip. It is going to be a fun game to attend.

Reality check coming.
How will it be a “reality check” if Texas had a tougher schedule than almost every sec team last year?

This is a solid troll, doesn’t deserve the ratio it’s getting.

Texas has a couple of trolls on here. Even the 24/7 Texas site commented on them

Wouldn’t shock me if they are Aggies

Good lord. I’m really kinda shocked how insecure so many Texas posters are.

If it’s a schtick, well OK.

If you really need this much affirmation, watch some Stuart Smalley highlights.

You own a victory over Meechigan, and congratulations, but honestly there are a number of teams in this conference that would roll that team.

Hard to read what a schedule is going to turn out like this early in the season.

Not forever, however Texas ownING the rest of the SEC as it currently does, forever is still a long time, but much more likely.

After looking through your 3 post, I have determined this statement to be a lie.
