A&M at 11-1 would still be #7 if they had beat UTEP instead of Notre Dame. How does that make sense?

If Texas had lost to Texas A&M instead of Florida, we’d be 10-2 and #8 right now.

It appears that the only thing the committee cares about are wins and losses.. and opponent doesn’t really matter much at all.

A team could have a 12 game schedule against Top 15 teams.. win 75% of the games and finish 9-3 and they would say.. nope, not playoff worthy.. *

* unless you are Notre Dame, and then maybe it’d matter

It isn’t Texas fault that Arkie had such a bad year or their OOC opponents ended up so weak. That’s just how it turned out.

Texas will not be a CFP team and it has nothing to do with losing to Ohio State.
