Emsminger was the primary recruiter for Brees. If you recall, Slocum fired everyone but Shawn after the 1996 debacle.

I am laughing at how sad and stupid you are.

I am killing time on a fanmade web forum for a conference one of my alma matters is a member of.

You are getting riled up about a post on a web forum for a conference that your school (of which you probably didn’t even attend) is not, nor will ever be, a part of.

Member when yall gave up 42 to us before the 3rd quarter even ended? It'll only be worse next year.

To be fair no one has tried more than A&M. From cheating to jumping conferences several times, hiring coaches that have won elsewhere, investing in facilities.... just about everything there is to do they have tried. It hasn’t been unwillingness to try or invest. Just nothing has worked.

At some point the “sleeping giant” rhetoric has to be deemed a lie.

At least we’re members of a successful conference and not one that is up in flames and will be extinct in a decade - which is solely the fault of UTexas.

Also we aren’t afraid of playing Aggy like you dumbasses.

Since when did they join the PAC 12?

If anyone is in deep shite it's them.

No, I don’t recall Ensminger being the coach who was responsible for recruiting him; but I’ll take your word for it.
It would make sense.
Shawn Slocum was the Recruiting Coordinator, so it wouldn’t surprise me that our OC (Ensminger)—not S. Slocum—had the job of finding QBs.

Bygones.

The modern era began in 1939 with the start of WW2, A&M won a championship then and Arkansas won one in 1964. Modern

PAC 12 just has sucky teams but they could just become a G5 type league and be fine.

Big 12 has historical members leaving and not looking back.

Oh boy, this is gonna be fun.

You are getting riled up about a post on a web forum
My last post was literally in response to you calling me a "little shite" after you spewed facts that had absolutely nothing to do with this conversation. I don't think you understand what "riled up" means.
quote:

your school (of which you probably didn’t even attend)
I present to you "when you know you're beat." I went to Texas, graduated in 2014, and remain a very big fan today. I was a third generation graduate. I have no way of proving this aside from taking a picture of my diploma and uploading it (which I will never do), just like you have no proof that I didn't attend. Regardless, thank GOD I went to a school like Texas and NOT one that's as pitiful, academically and athletically, as Mississippi State.

I'm responding to a thread about the school I attended and graduated from. Hell, the name of the school is in the title of the thread... There's no prerequisite that you have to be a member of the SEC to post here. Since that has definitely obstructed with your "killing of time on a fanmade web forum" then maybe you should take it up with the moderators of said web forum. Just a thought.

I sadly think you are unaware of how many people in this thread are currently doing the same to you.

Congrats on being affiliated with teams that beat your arse on their way to one of their own championships? I guess that's all y'all have considering Miss State has never, and most likely will never, accomplish a championship of their own.

Oh, sonny... You really are trying so hard, it's adorable.

It means writing a 4-paragraph-long response to a fan of a school you claim is

.

Which required you to make an account here, wait a week for the account to be active, and then monitor. All for a forum for programs your school rarely plays.

Texas' superiority complex at its finest. Only the Longhorns can post a decade of results like this (with almost literally unlimited resources in a decidedly down conference) and still pretend they're too good to play us or A&M.

This is the kind of hard hitting posts I come here for.
