This is when it gets fun.

The aggy-horn back-and-forth about money and who is afraid of who is tired, yet like a car wreck. It draws me in every time.

Sad that sarge isn’t here to take us into a 30 page melt and ruin......i mean improve the thread.

30+ pages of sarge thinking he was bumping a horrible thread......he was providing the horrible.

ETA. Waiting for his son Driveby to melt in 3, 2, 1.

It wouldn't be a rivalry even if yall were better, they tried to make LSU-Arkansas a rivalry too with the boot thing when they moved to the SEC and it flopped. We have prior arrangements

I miss the UT Am rivalry too. It hurts Texas more by not playing it. Their schedule is so boring it’s hard to believe they don’t do everything possible to schedule it.

Auburn's been magnitudes more relevant than the Longhorns for the last 20 years.

Well, seeing as how TEXAS has won 181 games during that timeframe while Auburn has won 175 games during that span, and both have the same amount of national titles and runner-up finishes, I just don’t quite understand how you can say “magnitudes.”

wut? They’re probably two of the most evenly accomplished good programs you can find in that timeframe.

Now let's do 10 years.

Wins

Auburn - 96
t.u. - 71 (A&M has 84 over that same span)

National Championships

Auburn - 1
t.u. - 0

Conference Championships

Auburn - 2
t.u. - 0

Division Championships

Auburn - 3
t.u. - 0

Losing seasons

t.u. - 4
Auburn - 1

Didn’t Miss State beat Texas the last time they played? J. Sherrill was the coach and they castrated a bull the week before the game ...did I remember that correctly?

Alabama vs LSU, Georgia vs Florida, Alabama vs Tennessee, Auburn vs Alabama, Auburn vs Georgia, Auburn Vs LSU. Florida vs LSU, ... all games have more significance than any game played by Texas. You’ve become irrelevant get used to it.

Imagine being this stupid, yet thinking you know what you're talking about.

who has choked 4 times in National title games
Um.....? Didn't y'all have a 21-3 lead in that game

quote:

And yes I do know Texas doesn’t play in the Cotton Bowl each week but it is in Texas and you’ve played the majority of your bowl games there and it would be like Bama playing at Legion field on New Year’s Day. Your team is so crappy you still only went .500 with a home field advantage you moron

Again, I'm very sorry that the Cotton Bowl is nicer than any neutral stadium Alabama as a state has ever had. Sorry our school is in the capital city of a more prosperous state? This point makes no sense.

Back in the day, there were like 8-10 total bowl games, and the Cotton Bowl was one of them. And as SWC champions, Texas would be selected some years. Just like Texas A&M or Arkansas when they won that conference.

You must be 12 years old or followed football for 2 seasons or less to not understand this, you moron.
