At Vanderbilt
At Arkansas
At Texas A&M

Not to mention Georgia and OU (who I'm not convinced is that good, but we'll see).

Thoughts?

We win all those games and lose to Florida and Kentucky.

Yes, our schedule got a lot tougher this past weekend.

Kentucky is the game I am worried about, sandwiched between 2 rivalry games. Hopefully the team playing in the moment and isn't coming off an Arkansas hangover or looking ahead at A&M. Seeing them play Georgia and Ole Miss tough should be enough to let the team know they can't sleep walk that game.

OU defense seems to be decent.

More single game overreactions.

All three teams are better than people initially thought, especially Arkansas.

I would not be surprised to see two of those three have played their best ball of the season and revert back to average rather than super.

A few upsets doesn't make a weaker schedule stronger.

Vandy is just another road game in the SEC that isn't a given win. I don't think anything changes really after beating Alabama, except that they might not get overlooked now.

Arky will play Texas tough because Arky hates Texas and it's it Fayetteville. Beating Tenner doesn't change that at all.

A&M was always going to be a tough rivalry game because both teams have something to prove coming off the hiatus. Mizzou being hot garbage doesn't change that, either.

Overall, I'm not any more worried about the schedule if I'm a Longhorn fan. In fact, I'm actually highlighting these wins in hopes people will stop dogging me for my cake walk first year schedule if/when I beat these teams.

Those are contradictory thoughts.

No, they aren't. If I'm a longhorn fan, I'm excited that, despite not actually being harder, my schedule will now appear more difficult than it is due to the overreactions from last week.

No, because they beat Arkansas and should've beaten A&M, who is better than most people thought. Regardless of how good Missouri is or is not, they wouldn't have lost so badly to a team that isn't well above average (not saying we're elite, mind you).

UTrans schedule is a joke. The combined record of who they played through today is 13-11 with LA Monroe at 4-1 and Michigan at 4-2.

It is silly to think anyone can say they have been tested. Their gift of a season starts Saturday.

I have no idea what their final record will be but I believe they have not been tested to this point.

I agree. Their best win is Michigan, and Michigan isn't that great.

Or maybe, and I'm just guessing here, because they upset Tennessee this weekend.

I poked fun at SEC fans telling us how it was a gauntlet then magically became a league of cupcakes when we joined...only the ones on our schedule of course

but in all seriousness it really is a great conference and, unlike the B12, there is rarely a week you can take off and expect an easy win. That's what I love about it.
