Any new credible info?

Who was it?
Reports are coming out that it was his fiancé, but that info hasn’t been publicly released yet.

Additionally, he and his wife have been divorced for years and his daughters do not typically live with him. So it’s less likely that it’s one of them (in addition to his lawyer’s statements).

This is from the ESPN article…

Coming from a second rate Big 12 fan. That’s rich.

As soon as someone on the UT campus sees a formal document that says he was choking a woman, he will be fired - most likely today. It doesn't matter if it is self defense. It doesn't matter if the woman is lying. Beard is done.

All it tells me is that they aren't going to back down to bitches like you. If the man is guilty then he will get what's coming to him.

That’s as naive a take as I’ve seen today.

This. He could be falsely accused. Who knows? Not defending him, but if you've ever been on the recieving end of something anywhere close to this and you are innocent. It sucks arse. Problem is that even if found innocent, most people believe the first thing they hear.
Plus, maybe they have more details than we do. BTW I deplore Texas and I'd love nothing more than to see their dream season fall apart, but due process is still the law of the land.

To clarify, I never called for Beard to be fired. But being there is enough evidence to charge him with strangling a woman, holding her hostage, and is currently in jail, a suspension is in order being he is set to coach a game tonight.

My bet is she doesn't press charges once everything calms down.

What’s your definition of restraining her against her will, sparky?
