Sources say that Texas intentionally did this in anticipation of joining the SEC and playing aggy again one day. The UTERUS always gives aggy the WILLIES and confuses them as they have no desires to mess with or have any direct physical contact with anything that has a uterus, such as a woman pictured below.
The original plan was an everyday straight end zone hallway, but that sometimes resembles a penis which would put aggy at ease, something Texas did not want to do.

What a terrible renovation. That "stadium" is a monstrosity that makes zero sense, and isn't remotely appealing. Combine that with the whisper-quiet atmosphere and you have a lot of laughs ...

As an Aggie fan, this is pretty funny! Credit given.
But it is pretty amazing that TU still ignored a lot of complaints about this is the design phase of the stadium. I personally own a business that was contracted with TU for the expansion construction and saw this coming.
