Great job qualifications list you have there. Newsflash, serious players don't care what color the head coach is.

They want to be developed, they want good NIL, and they want to be on a winning team.

Offer those 3 things and recruits will come and it doesn't matter whether or not the coach looks like Kim Jong IL.

It says a ton about what a crappy coach A&M has to lose even one game to the likes of Texas this year. Your team is complete arse.

It should be a fireable offense to be honest. But shite happens ... like Texas in the NIT because they don't deserve the tournament.

A lesson for all of us is not to spend all our money on unproven 18 year olds who think they are stars and don’t care about the program except for one year- if that. Juniors and seniors, whether transfers or long term program players, have a much greater sense of urgency and know how to play college ball.

Texas has had no choice but to try and throw together a team of transfers each of the last two seasons. They've got talent but yes trying to throw talented kids together who have only played a few months together has definite draw backs.

Beard came in and overhauled the roster with transfers (mostly 1-2 year eligibility remaining). Stayed for 1 years then the university had no choice but to fire him mid-season. Recruits bailed or went pro. Terry got one really good one to stick. But had to hit the portal hard. Did a really good job of landing talent.

Enough talent that it's clear they should be doing better than they are and that it's coaching. A better-than-average coach would be getting better results than he has with this roster (even with its lack of experience together).

This loss was a breath of relief for Texas bball fans

Thank you Texas. We avoid the history books, at least for 0fer in the conference but we’re already the worst SC team ever.

The best women’s team and the worst men’s team in the conference.

LSU is right there with you.

We did, but we fired him because of domestic case and hired the backup coach because we got to elite 8 that year.

Men's BB is the worst program at the university in all of athletics. We just won the SEC championship in men's and women's swimming. Men's and Women's tennis, softball, and Women's BB are all ranked highly. So, it's wild how bad our MBB team is when compared to every athletic program.
