Texas fans cry when someone does horns down, so you might want to temper your excitement because you're playing with the big boys now. In the SEC, you have to earn the respect of other teams by proving it on the field.

As of right now Vandy's all time record in the SEC is 141-457-18 against the SEC.
Oklahoma and Texas are a combined 312-143-7 all time against the current configuration of the SEC.

A&M switched to grass turf on Kyle Field in 1996 — almost 30 years ago. I guess that’s recent if you’re in your 80s or 90s, or born during the Great Depression. But solid effort on the “insult.”
