I told you. There is a cancer in Austin. None of those kids want to actually do the work, and IF Sarkisian gets a chance he's going to have to turn the entire roster over. I'm not sure he gets a chance to do so

All those former Alabama assistants finding the Texas roster to be soft it seems.
The Arkansas, OU and hell even Ok State games were frustrating losses, some of which could've been prevented with better planning and execution, but a lot of it you could at least chalk up to "the other team was just flat better" or "we just couldn't get the right breaks"
The last two games, however, it was clearly evident that the team just lied down, and a lot of the players at this point are only playing to not get individually embarrassed or to put themselves in positions to pass blame rather than playing as a cohesive unit.
Sark has a lot of soul-searching to do after this season. It's a longer rebuild than any of us, and probably Sark himself, had anticipated. But the only way to go about it is to purge the poor attitudes and bad eggs from the program.

Which is exactly why they're there: to fix this shite.

I can’t imagine trying to build a culture in the current climate. Saban had a rough go of it in 2007 at Alabama. Players had been coddled under Mike Shula. They quit at the first sign of adversity in Saban’s first season. But those that ended up staying were a key part of the first championship in 2009.

I'm honestly expecting that over the next 3 games and, hopefully, a bowl game if they can beat the schools with "kansas" in the name at home (not sure they could beat either at this point).
For the players that choose to stay at Texas for a chance to play and compete next year, they better get ready for a long offseason
