Are you saying atm didn’t try?

Or are you saying atm is a fraud?

I’m confused.

A 10-2 Texas is easily in the playoffs. You had a really bad loss with Florida and that seems to be the bridge too far.

It’s a bad draw for y’all but as fortunate as you are you won both games against Kentucky and State that Florida loss is the albatross around your neck.

And if we are being honest, it was exceptionally lucky that you beat state. That return saved your bacon. As we all know it’s sometimes better to be lucky than good.

No I’m saying the game didn’t matter

A&M won enough games to be a lock for the playoffs and you had already lost enough to be completely eliminated

If you were still in the Big 12 like God intended (or better yet, the SWC), you would be going to the playoffs.

Texas would be one and done against any team they play should they get in. Have you seen your away record, it's terrible? Y'all play like shite on the road.

You are 100% right. Thanks for your objectivity.

We should have lost to msu. I agree.

Disagree in being completely eliminated.

If 3-4 teams had lost Texas would be in for sure. As it stands now we probably (unjustly) finish 12-15

lol you are probably right.

However if that’s the case I would prefer to play OSU from the fan perspective.

Enjoy the Alamo Bowl. San Antonio is great during the holidays.

According to every model you needed 5 out of 6 to lose

You were eliminated

That criteria makes sense if schedules are equal. They aren’t even close. Texas is super young, they damn near lead the country in underclassmen snaps. A&M played almost an entire freshman secondary at one point in the game. Of course these guys aren’t going to be perfect playing a majority of the SEC campaign on the road.

I personally care more about the top 15 wins on a teams schedule

Why is 15 the cutoff? Why not 25 or 5 or 50? Is this so Vanderbilt counts?

The truth is Texas isn't that good this season. Sagarin has them at 3-2 against top 40 teams. SP+ has them ranked 22.

Texas lost to a 4-8 UF team. You can't do that, then also lose 2 other games. If you beat OSU or UGA, even with the UF loss, you're in the playoffs and likely hosting a home game.

Top 15 is where we can all agree teams are good enough to win top to bottom. Are you OSU more worried about playing James Madison whose a top 25 team or Vandy whose top
15? You tell me?
