This is why I am glad Texas and OU joined the conference. It’s going to ramp up drama and hatred to DEFCON 1.

Texas fans are the Cowboy fans of college sports. All they care about is the brand and money and will act like they have always been a blue blood but has nothing to show for it. The Horns have 1 title in 50 years and the Cowboys have not won a SB or even been to a SB for almost 30 years

Bama played Texas in a game featuring two CFP teams last year and it wasn’t even a top 3 game on the season for us.

For the first few years he isn't wrong about that. Having said that I think once SEC fans get used to seeing the Longhorns in the SEC year after year it will become just like any other conference game...as in normal level of crazy.

LOL. The whorns were never a big shot in the Big 12, no matter what they say.
Just to illustrate:
Texas is 2-8 in their last 10 games against OU.
7-13 in their last 20
11-19 last 30
15-24-1 last 40
20-28-2 last 50
26-32-2 last 60
32-36-2 last 70
37-41-2 last 80
You have to go back 90 years for Texas to start having a winning record against OU
44-43-3

I don't think anyone expects it to be the same way in the SEC, (one of the reasons we're making the jump) but for the first few years having the Longhorns and Sooners as a conference game is going to be a novelty to all the coaches, players and fans on the schedule. I can see it settling down a bit after a few seasons, but we know nobody wants to be the first team to lose to one of the noobs.
LSU, Bama and UGA are all more important games to everyone they play than Texas. Oklahoma has been a much better program in my lifetime than Texas. Not sure where this arrogance comes from

You didn’t do shite in the B12. Got everyone’s best game lol. OU won 14 B12 titles, wanna talk about getting everyone’s best games. Most of what success you had was from Mack Brown and you fired him

I know it won’t happen, but could you imagine the melt if TU lost their first SEC game to tGrind?
