Any reason why they did that?

Because they won.
And they're very insecure.
It was a red-letter day in Lubbock.

Interesting note: Kliff Kingsbury was the quarterback for tech in that game.
You know it burned him having to be our OC.

Both sides are bitches.
You need to play because it's fundamental to both teams identities and to honor the players, coaches, and fans that have built your programs.
Not playing because there's no good "business" or "brand" reason to is f'ing pathetic.
Both of you get your shite together.

What would you like us to do?
We've tried.

I had no idea they were like that. They throw batteries at people too?

They're very much "like that."
And they wear their shittiness as a badge of honor.
It's well known. They don't deny it.
A very odd group.

Spoken like someone whose program didn't play their rival for about 40 years

On A&M's very last trip to Lubbock, their buses were painted on the outside and filled with manure on the inside.

I find it truly amazing how many times this doofus has made an announcement about playing us. He's only been on the job like 6 months and I bet there has been an announcement in a press conference or interview that they will or won't play us (he changes his mind a lot) at least once every month in that time.
Strong has also said he'd like to play multiple times. I get that they get asked about it, but I don't think a single A&M official has made a comment about it since Patterson was hired. But Strong made comments fricking two days ago that he'd like to see the game resume.
It's pathetic. They need to move the frick on. It's not going to happen right now so just stop.

So you're upset that Patterson said he didn't want it to happen and that Strong said he did? That makes sense. What is someone supposed to do when they get asked a question?
