does LSU not lead the all time series then?
Only people who give a shite about all time series are those who just lost a game or are scared they're going to lose the next one

My only complaint with some A&M posters on this board is that they had one good season and all of a sudden think they're a top tier program
None of us thnk we're an elite program yet, only that we have a chance to be an elite team RIGHT NOW. We'll need at least a 4-5 year run of years similar to or better than last year to deserve talk of being a top end program.
What Johnny Manziel has allowed us to do is lean on a trascendent player while we amass a ton of talent and depth we are currently lacking. When he leaves, we will probably never have a QB like him again but we will almost certainly be a better overall program.

What about the top linemen on both sides of the ball and the OC being gone? I'd pump the breaks a tad on those expectations.

Well, we went 11-2 and won eight games by 28 or more points. We kinda did for the most part.

Our new OC lit up OU in the Cotton Bowl and our QB set a bowl record for total yardage. Our All-American LT is being replaced by another All-American. We're not too terribly concerned.

I responded with the all time record because one of you tards accused me of moving the goalposts when I pointed out that A&M hasn't beat us in any sport that matters since joining the SEC.

No. I'm done tapping the brakes. I've spent my entire life as an Aggie fan mentally tapping the brakes on my expectations, and I'm flat done. The future is bright, our expectations our justified, and I'll be damned if I don't enjoy it. So kindly take your lecture and shove it where the sun don't shine

Didn't you hear? Cam and Mett are going to buttfrick the SEC west

Why does it bother you that Ags are optimistic about next year? Is it a fear that they could be right--that if a team other than yours does well/receives accolades, your team won't (so you try to take down other teams/their fans)?
I don't get it. Fans are gonna act like fans (hence the word fanatic).

Ask Arkansas fans about what expectations do for you.
We arent Arkansas. They don't have three of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country in their backyard.
A&M has the potential sustainability that Arkansas lacks. We needed a kickstartand we got it, and hopefully it continues.

I'm more scared of y'all than lsu next year if I have to be perfectly honest.

I resemble that characterization.

Why do y'all think you'll be better next year?
More overall talent and depth for one thing. Another reason is that history shows with stunning consistency that the second year of this offensive style is when it really takes off. We spent half of last season waiting for our offensive line and running backs to get used to a finesse, wide-split zone blocking scheme. Not so this year.

Nobody but LSU fans will be stunned if Ole Miss beats them and finishes with a similar record.

If Bo's shoulder gets healthy we could make some noise.

Y'all beat Alabama last year. You didn't beat LSU, you didn't beat Florida, you didn't beat Georgia, you didn't even beat South Carolina. So yes, you kicked the crap out of the bottom half of the league and were 1-2 against the top teams. That was good for third in the West.
Its not like y'all have never pulled an upset before. Y'all beat OU in the recent past when they were number 1, too. I think we know that didn't do shite for y'all's program, but now all of a sudden beating Alabama does.

You trying to marginalize 11-2 is hilarious. I remember another team that finished 11-2 and won the cotton bowl in 2010. Were you proud of that team? I'll wait

You do realize that A&M was better than LSU last year, and that the swamp kittens got the upset win at Kyle Field, right? Y'all weren't a top ten team and lost to Clemson. A&M was a top 5 team...

We played defense with 14 players last year. 14 players played more than 40 total snaps on the season. We had six viable offensive linemen. We have a TON more depth going into next year. Young depth, but it's a lot better than none at all.
