hahaha rinse and repeat. i’ve said it here many times. Aggy will never waste an opportunity to brag, never. The closer to the season starting, the more the bragging.
Then the bragging will turn into anger. Anger because they won’t be ranked as high as their own hype.
Then disappointment in the season as they continue to lose games they shouldn’t according to their own hype.
Finally the blame game. They’ll blame the officials. They’ll blame the media. They’ll blame at least one player, usually the quarterback. They’ll blame Texas. They’ll blame Jimbo.
Then after the mediocre season is over. They’ll slowly regroup and being patting one another on the back again. They’ll tell each other how great they are.
Finally we’re full cycle, and it all starts again. i’ve seen it time after time after time.

My God man, your post made me realize that us Aggies have turned into fricking Longhorn fans. Probably all those years in the dumpster fire conference looking up to a mediocre Texas program somehow conditioned us to think like Texas fans. frick man, so spot on.

Texas has a top 5 recruiting class every year and hasn’t had a top 5 finish since 2009.
