Correction needed. A&M is still doing it.

Perhaps Lane got the idea from Bucky. Aggies do admit this pro player has been on the roster for "months".

There is only one program actively involved in violation of SEC rules and its A&M

It’s funnier watching the figs promote this “rules for thee, not for me” approach. And also claim “he won’t play” or “he won’t be on the team much longer” as if yall are trying to take the high road or something… clearly yall are okay with professionals coming back to play college ball, just not if other colleges do it too.

If all this didn’t get the attention it did, and SEC did not make their ruling today, A&M would have let him stay on the team - or was A&Ms coach planning on cutting him all along? Almost seems worse that way, stringing a kid along for nothing.

They were looking so hard for something to cry about, they forgot to check to see if their school was doing the same thing.

A&M won't play anyone in any sport to jeopardize any league play. Just won't happen. Not our DNA.

I don't think anyone would, that'd be extremely dumb. Not sure why Aggies are so hung up on that.

Please read SEC rules.

Roster a player

Looks like he’s on the roster according to A&M

But A&M is actively rostering a professional basketball player in violation of their rules

Yet A&M had a professional basketball player rostered for months (per Aggie fan here) but had 0 intention of playing him? Again, it almost seems worse to sign a player stringing him along only wasting his time when he could be playing elsewhere, or starting his non athletic career. Must be in the A&M DNA

Multiple Aggies have said he isn't going to play in this thread, which has no relevance to anything being discussed.

He will be removed from the roster. He won't play. What else do you want.

WTF are you talking about. Do you even know what the 5 for 5 cases are about?

Is there anything credible out there saying this?

Is this different than “he won’t be rostered”?
I’m sure there are rostered players that don’t see the floor the whole season, idk basketball that well, but if he doesn’t play in a game, is that a violation of the rules, or are you saying it’s only a violation if he plays?

Right now, as the rule states, A&M is currently in violation- yes or no? Or has he already been removed from the team?

Nothing, I just like seeing Aggies with their foot in their mouths after all the bluster the last few days

The rule came out this week. So adding players after the rule is announced is different than adding players before the rule is announced. Regardless, there’s going to be no difference if the players aren’t continuing with it. And if they do continue with it, then the school will either comply with the SEC rules or not comply, and face consequences. That’s what all 16 schools agreed to.

How iiiiiiiinteresting that context now suddenly matters on these items…
