Respect LSU?

And we don't expect you to rollover. We just don't expect you to be capable of doing anything about it.

And all I'm talking about is 2013. And every non-LSU person on this board and in cfb thinks A&M will have a better year this year than LSU.

I'm sorry if that hurts your ego. :DWI:

Over the course of 100+ years LSU has had a superior program and y'all think one solid season means A&M is suddenly on par or even better than LSU. I think now is when you resort to calling us swamp kittens and insulting our intelligence.

Cas4t, we have 2 5* RBs on our team and neither are even the starter. We are 4-5 deep at RB of studs. LSU has had the deepest RBs recently but not this year, buddy

LSU has been running with 3-4 RB's deep for years now. To act like aTm's RBs will compensate for JFF falling off is ridiculous. And that was the initial post that led to all of this RB comparison stuff.

Believe it or not, that was a compliment to how good Manziel is.

Brunn, I wasn't even talking to you except to point out that you can't follow a thread.

Start on page 1 again and read with your lips moving this time. Maybe you'll figure out where you went wrong.

What did they think about aTm this time last year?

Shows how credible everyone else is huh?

Are you still trying to argue that the 2013 RBs for LSU are better than A&Ms? (Not even counting the SEC leading rusher)

Please, name the RBs that LSU has that are currently on the team in good standing.

And since you brought rankings into it feel free to add what their star ranking was

LSU will beat A&M head-to-head and finish higher.

Blue and Hilliard-two guys who combined for 16 carries 166 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 2011 SEC championship game.

Youre confusing us with people who give a shite about star rankings when these players are already in college and playing.

My biased reasons why I think LSU will finish ahead of A&M in the standings:

- LSU's offense will be it's most productive in since 2006 under a competent OC with experienced pieces to work with.

- LSU's defense will not fair as badly as many of the 'experts' anticipate because despite losing many players to the NFL draft, there is still quite a bit of experience returning and a lot of talent on the roster. And players (especially on the DLine) have a habit of stepping up each year.

- LSU's team chemistry will be better. Not every player LSU lost to the NFL should be counted as a net negative.

- Neither A&Ms players, nor Sumlin have dealt with the magnitude of spotlight they will get this season. Not saying they can't, just saying they haven't.

- We get A&M and Florida at home.

Like I said, it's certainly biased and optimistic.

Jeremy Hill will be playing, but good try. And he will be more effective this year than any other RB on aTm's team.

I'm not doubting that aTm has those 5 star guys or that your RBs are good. I'm simply saying LSU will be better at running the football this year. We are a running team with a pretty good OL, now that it's healthy.

JFF will have more carries this year than any RB on your team

The only way you guys end up being a run-heavy team is if JFF goes down. And if that happens, aTm is fricked.

I only did this earlier because someone said to use "critical thinking".

Adam, idgas about stars. An LSU fan told me to check star rankings of LSU backs

Projectp, Sumlin has absolutely dealt with this magnitude. He was OC at OU for some very hyped seasons

Are you saying LSU as a team will rush for more yards than A&M as a team? Because that's what it looks like

Or are you just saying LSU will be better at running in 2013 then it was in 2012. Because if that's the case it very well may be true but you'll still likely rush for less yards than A&M

LSU has done much better in the past 10 years than A&M has, therefore, LSU will finish higher. You're an idiot if you base your opinion of football team's on anything other than historical records. Signed, SECR

Wow

LSU is two years removed from going 12-0 in the regular season.

Texas A&M is two years removed from going 6-6 in the regular season.

But it's ok. Texas A&M finished 5th in the SEC last year. Give them respect. They are now an elite program without winning a conference championship in the last 15 years.
