A&M has historically had a great OOC schedule, except for the last 2 years due to the move to the SEC.
Arky is supposed to be our OOC game for the next 7 years, but that became a conf game.
Notable OOC games:
Notre Dame (2000, 2001)
Virginia Tech (2002, 2003)
Pitt (2002, 2003)
Utah (2003, 2004)
Clemson (2004, 2005)
Miami (2007, 2008)
Arkansas (2009, 2010, 2011)
I'll go out on a limb and say over the 10 year period from 2000-2010, that the A&M OOC was the best out of all the SEC teams. A&M fans got to see some awesome OOC home games and make some great road trips.

I guess everyone is forgetting espn put this game together. Does anyone remember who state was originally supposed to play before having to reach out to espn to help them find an opening day opponent?

It's is, but it was started by a state fan, state wanted an easy schedule but was forced into playing ok state. I don't think a&m wanted this easy schedule as evident by their ooc schedule in the past, scheduling was screwed with due to them being new to the conference and all.
