That's dumb. There are 2, maybe 3 teams that are better jobs than A&M: Georgia, Bama, and potentially-maybe-if you-think-about-it-really-hard-and-you-don't-like-maroon, LSU.

LSU,BAMA,UGA,AU,UF all have titles recently....you guys do not.
you just fired a coach who made a bowl and won by 40. Your expectations are incredibly unreal. Good luck trying to get someone to come in and try and coach his heart out. Youre just going to get someone who is there for a quick paycheck and that it is

Listen carefully, sir, and let me know if you have any questions or need me to repeat anything. Discarding the inexplicable Miami result, Texas A&M has either dominated or lost a game against a ranked team by one score. With our backup quarterback. We have talent out the wazoo, and lots of coaches are going to want to work with that caliber of player and do and enjoy the benefits of the facilities, money, etc.

7th in the SEC is generous, i'd put aTm 10th best in the SEC
all of these teams have won Football National Championships since the last time aTm played in a Conference Championship
Tennessee
Alabama
Georgia
Oklahoma
Texas
Auburn
Florida
LSU
------
Mizzou (won East several times)
and the rest
Kentucky, S Carolina, Texas aTm, Ole Miss, State, Arkansas, Vanderbilt
all of these teams have won Football National Championships since the last time aTm played in a Conference Championship

Just look at all these fans now wanting Jimbo to coach them, people realise a&m has the resources to compete, they are scared the pieces will come together

Wrong. Most coaches want to recruit and bring in their kind of talent. Getting all the aggy 5 star busts Jimbo got is not optimistic for any coach.
Plus no coach wants to be associated with this....

Fans are short sighted. The coaches know much better. The only thing A&M lacks is a coach. And our NIL is better than most schools to boot

Didnt win in the past=cant win in the future! A&M was not bankrolled by the saudis like they are now.... things will change and everyone will be up in arms

Everyone hoping Jimbo would stay. Ark and state fire their coaches and the typical response is "good for them", a&m fires Jimbo and the consensus on this forum is "a&m will never win anything!" with people raging. That behavior is a sign that a&m is viewed as a threat, even if people won't admit it.
