How many teams in American could've gotten 100,000 something people into the same stadium 7 days after losing to a Sun Belt team? Not just that, but despite having an offense that is incredibly shitty and outdated, the fans didn't boo the offense after the 14th 3 and out, and the fans were also really excellent at making noise when the other team had the ball, all the way up to the end.

Not trying to be a contrarian here but one must give credit where credit is due

We are used to watching awful football. So even mediocre, below average teams get us excited.

LSU could have gotten 75k for the BK Sec opener!

I was thinking that last night as well. We had noticeable empty seats in the lower bowl which is sad.

It’s a cult basically.

But yes, I always give Aggies credit for being loyal through tough times and having the fewest bandwagon/dick rider fans.

I will agree. A&M truly does have a good and boisterous fan base, but they’re still weird, Lord help us all if they ever get things going there. The cocky attitudes will be unbearable.

I give the Aggies credit for this. Sure we have fun taking about some of the weird stuff that goes in but all kidding aside, they are loyal and there is something to be said for that. Seriously. I’m not being disingenuous.

Lmao of course Miami fans are in awe of a full stadium. They get a couple hundred fans a game.

Its a commuter school with hardly any dorms plus they play at shitty Hard Rock stadium which isn’t anywhere near the campus. Same thing when they used to play at the old Orange Bowl. U of Houston had the same problem before they build a stadium on campus. The Astrodome sucked for College Football.

They are one of the most supportive bases I’ve ever seen.

They also take care of their fellow alums far far better than most SEC schools……esp LSU.

To that, our kids are headed to College Station next year. I will, however, always cheer for LSU when they play.

Been there. Very friendly and welcoming fan base. I had a great time there. As much well deserved shite as y’all get about the weird traditions, no one can ever say anything legitimate about loyalty and a truly welcoming game day environment.

This is grim.
And pitiful.
And inexcusable for a so-called Power Five conference team.

It was the same at their last game. They said it was too hot.

Miami is a very small school of like 10k or so who are mostly all from the east coast whose sabbath is the same day as the football games.
There are bigger high schools in Texas, that definitely have more people at games. Unless locals show up they never have anyone at games
