Really?

Of all the distilleries in Bardstown, Frankfurt, and Elizabethtown and that’s the distillery you go with?

If you were a threat to Bama, they would have you scheduled against UGA on the road.

LSU has played Texas A&M in football twice as many times as they've played Vanderbilt . (63 meetings vs. 32 meetings) Vanderbilt and LSU are SEC Charter Schools.

That’s pretty wild

No there’s not. There isn’t a single team who has been in the SEC for 100 years. The conference isn’t even 100 years old.

I hope Texas will play Kentucky at Kentucky too. Kentucky is a beautiful and interesting state to visit, which I always enjoy traveling through
You're in luck. The Horns come to Lexington this year on October 18. That means you won the SEC road trip lottery, because the Keeneland Fall Meet will be in session. Come on up for the game

With the additions of TU and OU, scheduling went out the window. Yes, UGA and TAMU would be a great game for television but there is now a surplus of good-to-great, GTG, teams in the conference and the competition from the Big X is fierce. Matching the GTGs against the other GTGs is far more important than every conference team playing every other team regularly. They have to be sure to avoid overloading weekends with GTG vs. GTG games, however. In effect, there are so many GTGs now we have a conference within a conference. The other teams in conference, OTC, are used as fillers, and “rest games” for the GTGs. So scheduling will start over with GTGs vs. GTGs as the focus for prime time games. Who knows exactly how it will eventually level out. Certainly, if any new teams are added, they will only be GTGs and scheduling will be tossed out the window again.

Wild Turkey is like an industrial plant compared to the others. Touring the distillery circuit is a great trip.

look up how many times lsu has played georgia and tennessee. they have played rice many more.

LSU/Rice is an old school rivalry. Believe it or not Rice was actually a solid football program back in the day. Especially under Jess Neely, during the 40's and 50's specifically.

It's a matchup from a bygone era of football, never to return. Rice has no path forward to greatness on the gridiron. These days we will only get random game contracts with the Tigers, maybe.

LSU has a couple of deep roots in the state of Texas, Houston/Upper Gulf Coast and stretching into the eastern section of the Central part of the state via TAMU

I've always liked Rices' stadium and thought it had great bones. They hosted the 1974 Super Bowl.
