Love how all the sips conveniently leave out the part where we offered to keep T-day open and they acted like little bitches then. Then they hid from the epic arse kicking we gave to the Sooners in the Cotten Bowl. They FINALLY got the Plantation League that they always wanted, and people don’t understand why we want to let them rot in it?

I think Aggy should suck it up and play the damn game, but your last AD (Dodds) fricked up in a really bad way. It would go a long way to getting Aggy back to the table if your current AD admitted it publicly. I know you Texas guys are some prideful motherfrickers, but if you really want the game, the pride has to go.

Aggy is conveniently forgetting that THEY left the schedule. Those things are planned in advance. It caused rescheduling problems for the entire remaining conference.

I don't think we really want the game.
If Texas get's back to winning the big12, and misses out on the playoffs because they let two SEC teams in, then it will worry about home schedules and replacing someone with another SEC team.
That's a few years off at best.

The non-conference schedule was full. Why spend several hundred thousand dollars by ditching contracted opponents to help aggy trash? That's the same excuse aggy is using now.

Dropping the UTex game was a big topic of discussion when the SEC talk came about; we wanted to make the game work.

(But in fairness, no, I don't speak for Texas fans. I personally would prefer series with LSU, Arkansas and A&M in that order, but that's just me.)
