You quit a 100 year rivalry and ended 70 years with being in the same conference as your fellow Texas schools b/c Texas A&M was being dominated by Texas. Texas A&M was losing to Texas so yall quit and came to the SEC. This is even more pathetic. Deal with it.

You are speaking from ignorance. I know you're an LSU guy, so that's understandable, so let me enlighten you.

Over the last 4 decades prior to 2012 (that's 40 individual years, btw) Texas beat A&M 21 times. A&M beat Texas 19 times.

That is not "getting dominated." The domination took place from 1940-1974. Since '75, we have a winning record against them, in fact.

Further, are you really playing the "We were shitty so your victories against us don't count!" card?

Pussy.

Typical Aggie, losing a debate so I will call you names. Normal.

The last ten years Texas has whopped Texas A&M. They beat A&M 7 out of 10. The beat down streak actually goes back a little futher than that. Texas has beaten A&M 9 out of 12 games. That's called domination! No wonder A&M ran away to the SEC.

NO, I was telling you that bragging about a beating a 2-9 LSU team 20 years is pathetic and you accept it. You guys have nothing else to brag about but this is just sad.

Now LSU beating down Texas A&M's best team of the last 50 years was impressive. Let's brag about that one.

JFF had a great freshman year in college, and won the Heisman in doing so. That doesn't necessarily put him in the "great" category just yet.

IMHO, greatness is determined over time. For instance, Bert Jones was a great QB, but that was mostly proven in the NFL, not just when he was with LSU.

The ONLY Manziel statistics relevant to LSU and TAMU right now are these: Manziel threw 56 passes versus LSU last year -- and 24 of them were incomplete. Another three were completed to LSU. LSU won, and no amount of saying that they should not have won changes the fact that they did. Any Aggie that thinks that LSU didn't really beat A&M for that victory, is simply delusional.

Complain all you want, and brag about your QB all you want -- but LSU beat you and your wonder boy QB on your own fabled field, and that is the current state of affairs.

Come to Tiger Stadium and pay it back, then you will have a year to talk your kind of smack. Until then, eat crow.

Congrats on the win last year.

But get out of here with this "quitting the Texas series" garbage. We offered to keep the series alive. The reason it died was Texas AD Deloss Dodds. This is common knowledge. Methinks you are being deliberately obtuse, because you can't really be this dumb.

So another favorite card played by Aggies on here is the last 30 years we are even vs Texas. I have never heard of any team pulling a 30 year time table in a 100 year history. Wikipedia is my friend. Now, I see the reason.

Last 10 years, 20 years, 40 years, 50 years, 60 years, 70 years, 80 years, 90 years, 100 years Texas leads the series vs Texas A&M.

No wonder A&M fans stick to this magically 30 year mark.

Every time you guys say this: back out of a contract, running away crap, you owe us money blah blah. Then LSU fans can throw the fact you ran away from Texas b/c your were losing right back into your face. Texas A&M's situation is much more pathetic.

"Running away" from Texas to the SEC is like "running away" from the neighborhood bully into Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment.

The running away rhetoric is not only stale, it's factually inaccurate.

With LSU, it refused to play TAMU--not so it could replace it with a stronger opponent, but because it really was tired of losing.

How you could find the scenarios comparable is beyond me.

It "necessarily" does NOT: He was NOT great against LSU, not even close, and that was at home.

What ELSE is pertinent to this discussion thread about TAMU versus LSU -- how JFF did against someone other than LSU?

Lol.

JFF was not great in one game. Therefore, JFF is not a great player--notwithstanding his Heisman Trophy and multiple SEC and national records.

So Texas A&M left the Big 12 b/c the Big 12 was not tough enough and they wanted tougher competition? Texas A&M has not won a Big 12 championship in 15 years. Keep telling yourself this is the reason.

Texas A&M left b/c they were losing on the field to Texas and Oklahoma for the past 10 years. A&M was also losing in recuriting as well. Texas A&M saw no light in sight from their losing so they left for the SEC in a hope to gain an advantage in recuriting.

Texas A&M ran away from Texas and joined the SEC. Now, accept it and get over it. Move on. LSU ended a contract against A&M 20 years. A game in which nobody cares about. Again, accept it and move on. News flash, LSU ended a contract with Tulane fairly recent too. I wonder if the Green Wave fans are butt hurt like the Aggies?

Lol. TAMU was not winning in conference A, which is vastly inferior to conference B. To alleviate its mediocrity, TAMU left conference A to join conference B.

Just brilliant.

I don't know how to make you not dense.

So I'll let just let you spin your wheels in peace.

I feel better about LSU than Bama, mostly because Bama is a lot better.

It's hillarious that this whole thread has turned into a 9 page troll thread, with people getting all pissed off and going back and forth, personal attacks, pride and ego oozing out the seams, etc.

This is why I love the aggies in the SEC. This thing is going to be fun again.

No, we left because we were in a bad business partnership and the conference was unstable because of it. We made a 100+ year decision to join our school with the SEC. Thinking we made a 100 year decision because of recent W/L records is moronic.

Spurious correlation. The current recruiting advantage over tu is purely fringe benefit.

Had Tulane beat you 5 consecutive times before you breached the contract?

and no butthurt here. A&M outperformed my expectations this past season and I'm nothing but excited for the upcoming season

I was at College Station this past year. Texas A&M has the nicest fans I have ever been around. Nobody said anything negative to me at all. No smack talking, nothing. This A&M chick sitting next to me in the stands even asked if I would do that sway thing with the crowd before the game and I did it, lol. I hate to admit it but they had hot women and I pulled for them to beat Bama too. After seeing how nice the fans were I felt bad for hating them on here. I guess the idiots are on here and not at the games. I was used to being cussed out by the home team fans at: Bama, Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss

Post more of this ctiger69. And your posting history is kinda sad. It's all desperate attempts for attention by trolling A&M threads using the same material over and over.

All Aggie bashing aside - I for one am happy they have joined the sec and joined with strength. Going to be a great game this fall with many more to come.

As far as the dodging Texas deal - I have made fun of aggies for it - but the truth is i was happy to see them tell Texas to Fook off - that they don't need them. Look at the results.

And to add- I know a&m was not dodging tex

Thank you, goat.

And just for the record we didn't dodge Texas. We very publicly offered to keep playing them. They declined and canceled the series. Sadly we will play them whenever they finally come around. I wish we would tell them to get screwed.

As far as I'm concerned Texas A&Ms #1 rival from this point forward is LSU
