Good lord dude. Stop trying to justify a hypothetical situation and prediction just because you beat the NC and won 11 games. Truth is you lost that game. And your butthurt, while not easily visible, is there. Your confidence is a misplaced sense of insecurity and fear that LSU will do it again. I feel the same thing about week three of this year. But face it. LSU had TAMU's number last year, and until otherwise noted, still have it. LSU is built to rip teams like yours to shreds. And I think it will happen again. Evidence so far shows Manziel can't scramble his way to victory on them. So believe what you want. It's just false confidence like I said that you're using to cover up your fear of another loss to the Baton Rouge bengals. And that's why I respect LSU as much as much as I do. It seems that Bama and LSU beat all the teams the other cant beat. And it's fricking hilarious.

Seems like when comparing two specific teams the only numbers that matter is what they did heads up. The only thing to be added to equation is starters missing due to injury or whatever.

Tigers were down three starters for the aggies, two on offense and one on defense. All three return for '13. What about your aggies?

How many of your guys that actually took defensive snaps VS LSU return?

Being '12 was your first season in the SEC I will compare what LSU returned to it's '12 "D" VS what return for '13.

'12- five returning starters
DL - 3
LB - 1
DB - 1

returned ten more that PLAYED in regular rotation
DL - 6
LB - 2
DB - 2

That's 15 players in the regular defensive gameplan that returned.

Nine of the '12 defensive atarters were either Srs or JRs.

These are the returnees for '13.

Four returning starters.

DL - 0
LB - 2
DB - 2

return another 11 that played in regular defensive rotation.

DL - 4
LB - 3
DB - 4

Just like '12 that's 15 returnees that actually saw defensive game action most every game.

Coming out of spring NINE of the 11 starters were either SRs or JRs. Same number as '12.

In case you are interested the '11 LSU defense had six returning starters.

FIVE of the starters on the '11 defense were Srs and JRs.

DL - 1
LB - 2
DB - 2

This concludes your brief history on the last couple of LSU defenses.

LSU and Alabama are open for debate even though we are gonna smoke y'all when it comes down to it, but tell me who else on our schedule is even going to stay within 20 points?

I remember the Curly Hulman years and I remember losing to a&m in the past. But how is this statement any different from a&m fans who think that bc they had a successful season last year, they will steamroll us this year at our house. I was there last year at kyle field and stayed with some aggie friends that go to school there. You aren't all stupid and ignorant, but you...you say we will lose to a&m this year to book it, but we beat ya'll in your successful year and you expect it not to happen again...that is ignorant.

THIS IS THE SEC NOT THE BIG 12!!! Who the hell outside of LSU in '11 beat every other team in the SEC by 17+? We were held to below it by one team and they killed us in the title game and we barely beat them at their place...who else has a right to declare this? I think miss st will beat you. No game in the sec is a guaranteed 20+ win. Ask any of the 7 straight SEC national champions. Expected tough games are not the only tough games. What about La Tech last year?

so thats why bama beat us last year right? by your logic, we are going to beat bama again because manziel WAS able to run on the bama defense

no according to most of A&M's fan base we don't get to count that as a win.

This is too easy biscuit.

You DIDN'T BEAT us with a heisman QB. Care to rephrase your statement?

I don't expect or want JFF to scramble his way to victory. If JFF is scrambling, that means that the play is already disrupted and LSU is forcing us out of our gameplan. It's nice that he has the ability to scramble like he does but I'd rather he not have to use it.

False confidence? The guy won the heisman as a freshman. Most players get better the longer they play, but of course using Bama/Swamp Kitty logic he has peaked and will never be able to perform like that again.

According to A&M's fanbase you lost to Alabama and Clemson... something A&M was way too talented to ever come close to doing.

True, UA's D is built different than LSU's. Outrunning us isn't easy while running over UA isn't easy. But Saban is the best in the game and if there's a way he'll figure it out. That game should be great. If I had to bet the house right now, I'd put it on UA. jmo

Yes. I was saying that. Next.

I don't expect Alabama to beat A&M if they screw around like last year.
