JFF is better than any QB LSU has ever had. Deal with it.

JFF had a great freshman year in college, and won the Heisman in doing so. That doesn't necessarily put him in the "great" category just yet.
IMHO, greatness is determined over time. For instance, Bert Jones was a great QB, but that was mostly proven in the NFL, not just when he was with LSU.
The ONLY Manziel statistics relevant to LSU and TAMU right now are these: Manziel threw 56 passes versus LSU last year -- and 24 of them were incomplete. Another three were completed to LSU. LSU won, and no amount of saying that they should not have won changes the fact that they did. Any Aggie that thinks that LSU didn't really beat A&M for that victory, is simply delusional.

but LSU beat you and your wonder boy QB on your own fabled field

Texas started negotiations to leave the Big 12 when it was still a good conference. Therefore they started the insecurity of the league. Then Nebraska and Colo left. Now conference is very very unstable. Texas is so arrogant they felt they drove the train.
A&M didn't run from Texas - they found a way off a sinking ship - and executed it magnificently - to maximize football and other sports experience and finances for the fans and the school.
Getting to laugh at Texas is a bonus. They now want into the sec. Go to Shaggy Bevo thread on realignment 600 plus pages.
I will say this. Texas will be back. They recruit like always. and they will be able to get into they playoff with ease. A one game schedule. So that will make them happy and they can brag and make money. BUT the fans are still going to and already are pissed about the fan experience in Austin. They have no big games. Ever and never will. That is what Texas is about. Winning easy and making money. But for the fans - they miss what the journey is in the SEC - and that is the best part.
On LSU A&M - I need to see A&M's D first. Otherwise my line now is pick it.

All Aggie bashing aside - I for one am happy they have joined the sec and joined with strength. Going to be a great game this fall with many more to come.
As far as the dodging Texas deal - I have made fun of aggies for it - but the truth is i was happy to see them tell Texas to Fook off - that they don't need them. Look at the results.
I like the Gulf War WAY better than the Lone Star Showdown. Not even close

Lots of LOLs but not a single LSU poster has named a college QB better than Manziel

It "necessarily" does NOT: He was NOT great against LSU, not even close, and that was at home.
This is the ignorance fans of other SEC schools were referring to when it came to LSU fans.
I understand this now.

He really did not play well against LSU. Completed half his passes and threw 3 picks.

Oh I wasn't arguing that--your fellow LSUfan had just said that the first freshman to win the Heisman was not necessarily great, then offered up that weaksauce response when I called him out on it.
Just your standard, garden variety moving-the-goalposts :rivalry: smack

LSU played their best game of the year against A&M, and even had some fluke luck and still won by less than A&M's kicking left off the board... This year is two different teams and at DV, so who knows what happens...
We can be certain it won't look like this though--->
