You should protect your cornhole. You sound like a big pussy.

quote:Actually that was a result of Texas trying to work back channels for A&M and other schools to go to the PAC XII. That made it obvious the Big XII wasn't sitting on solid ground and that was all because of Texas, not A&M, not Mizzou.
They started all this crap by begging us to let them in in 2012...the SEC, in a weak moment, obliged because of $$$ and that was the beginning of this atrocity that we see now. College football is now an awful product.

Is this like Kiffin going all nuts in the transfer portal - and then complaining about the transfer portal ruining football?

They seem to be making more noise at the bottom of the food chain than at the top.

Texas is responsible for all of this. If we hadn’t defiled once-proud Nebraska to the tune of 9-1 in Big 12 play, they would’ve never left the Big 12 and the dominos would’ve remained upright.

Technically Colorado and Nebraska left first. We saw the Big 12 didnt have much of a future and jumped as well. So not sure how this is all our fault.
Always voting with Texas is your fault but only partly to blame in the grand scheme.

WOW!!! Ive seen some IGNORANT posts but this takes the cake. Do you know that the SEC had been courting Texas A&M as far back as the 1980s, and A&M rebuffed them every time?
In 2010 the SEC came calling to A&M, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND, after Nebraska and Col left fed up with the antics of the Longhorns, when Slive found out Texas was making moves to take A&M OU Texas to the PAC 10.
A&M scuttled the PAC deal that Texas thought they had all worked out, but then turned down the SEC. Slive traveled to College Station to personally pitch the SEC's offer to our Board of Regents.
Unfortunately our idiot Board voted to not go to the SEC and to buy in to Texas' new revised scheme involving unequal revenue sharing that benefitted A&M OU Texas. Slive was a gentleman by all reports and bid his time.
Our fan base was LIVID at the Board's decision not to go to the SEC.
Many articles confirming all this.
A year later, after Texas did what Texas does and reneged on their deal involving the Longhorn Network and using it to recruit Texas high school athletes, A&M said enough of this same ol bullshite and contacted Slive to say now we're ready if you want us.
Take your ignorant crap elsewhere, please.

What are you referring to here?

You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about, and if you truly don't, I have no interest in educating you. You can go back 12 years and read all about it.
and by the way, Wikipedia is full of longhorn bullshite.

There were actual discussions of Mizzou/ksu/kansas/iowa st to the Big East or MWC. But we were just supposed to stay idle and be a team player. Yeah, ok.

Lmao an aggie blaming texas. How shocking.
All the fans claimed it was because of the Longhorn Network yet none of them will mention the fact that they also voted for individual tier 3 rights that we took advantage of and they couldn't. If any of the programs that cried about that Network had been approached by ESPN they would have jumped on it faster than an Aggie humping a ewe.

Not true.
Many realized it was because your school is filled with miserable twats.

Love this. When faced with facts Aggie will always go insult just like a progressive liberal

LHN was one element but the bigger issue was Dodds' constant need to swing his cock. Created an unstable environment and in this void, schools felt threatened. NU and CU left before LHN was unveiled. Unfortunately, Dodds backed away from the Pac12. Seeing him and Larry Scott working together would have been amazing.

The great part is that the sorry arse 'sips always had this mantra that A&M "NEEDED" texas. We went SEC and offered to continue the series. 'Sips said no- Aggies left so let them become obscure in the SEC. Besides, our schedule is full. lol. Texas AD famously said A&M only has "a sliver of East Texas" in its sphere of influence.
10+ years later Texas was literally dying on the vine unable to compete with the program Texas A&M was becoming.
Had no choice but to go to the SEC begging admittance under cover of darkness.

Well if you are doing a root cause analysis... Texas A&M left because Texass had secretly cut a deal to pull Ags with them to the Pac along with OU and Tech (I think). Ags didn't want to be in a conference playing on the West fricking coast.
If you are going to try and blame someone get your facts straight bitch.
