So A&M is short on money. The one thing poor Aggies used as silver lining to masquerade years of mediocrity is really an exaggeration.

I told you all from the start Aggie is all hat, no cattle.

How do you get to A&M is out of money from cutting some fat in the AD dept?

No way an aggie is saying this after they’ve thrown the biggest tantrum the nation has ever seen over their coach taking a promotion

And championships. You forgot that Texas has 6 (and counting) of what a&m will never have.

Truth hurts

Point out a single person? No thanks. Go scour the internet or this forum and find it. It exists. If it helps you sleep thinking it doesn’t, that’s fine too. I don’t really care.
Lol “trust me, bro”

Meanwhile, you literally had aggies praising people talking shite about dead batboys on national television because it “distracted Florida’s coach from challenging the call on the field”

Of all the Aggie meltdowns I’ve seen over the years, you’re greatest coach ever publicly telling you a&m is a stepping stone for Texas might have produced the single best one yet

Yes, sudden mass layoffs are usually an indicator of fiscal stability.

Working class people that needed jobs but are now out on the street because TAM can’t manage its affairs properly?

And this after hearing from Aggies on here for years ad nauseum about how TAM has virtually unlimited money.

I think a lot of that was Trev Alberts wanting to come in and throw his weight around... and show who is boss.

If I've seen that tactic by a new leader/CEO/manager once... I've seen it a thousand times.

Uuuh, again, this is worse for ATM than I think you realize. You can’t argue it both ways.

Like, if the players hate him so much then why would they follow him to Texas? But you’re accusing him of both being horrible (all the players have said it!) and ALSO he’s a sleaze bag for getting players to follow him to Texas. Makes no sense.

Same with this. Okay, so his wife would rather divorce him to keep the family in Dallas than move to College Station, and then the coach bolts for a rival after playing in a championship and would have left even if had won.

Then you get the Dallas Star Telegram journalism (accountable to an editorial board) that suggest Trev Alberts more or less told Schloss to prepare to be unhappy if he stayed and if he had an issue with that to feel free to head out. Seems Alberts doesn’t want to keep that $80M promise his predecessor made. And Alberts fired key baseball staff that Schloss felt was important and wasn’t consulted on—forget the stadium funds.

You realize that compass clearly reads “who the hell would go to ATM” when you pair these together. Or at least, “Something is really wrong at ATM”.

Alberts more or less sounds like a husband telling a spoiled, ungrateful wife if you're not happy then you know where the door is.

Schloss in turn cheated on husband at the cemetery.

Looks worse on schloss than A&M no matter how you spin it.

Naw. You can’t spin it that hard even if you had a turntable.

The narrative is character, keeping your word, and being completely honest.

Schloss was made promises in order to come to ATM. The new AD sends the signal, “That’s not gonna happen, if that’s gonna bother you, feel free to remove yourself”.

So he did.

The one looking the absolute worst in all of this is the Texas atm AD and the atm culture generally. Schloss wife divorced him to prevent moving to college station. Alberts more or less run Schloss off by not honing the agreement that brought him in just a two seasons before. Then ATM was going to lose a coach even if that coach won a championship (fyi this is the first time in history of all major sports, college or pro, that a coach appearing in a championship game has taken a job within 24 hours of that game).

And now it’s been days and Alberts clearly had no backup plan for Schloss leaving, even though he flicked the domino to get him to leave weeks before.

Alberts is atm’s Patterson. That’s who looks bad.

Does not compute.

A&M just played for the National Championship and crowds flocked to their games providing an elite baseball experience. Something about their culture was obviously working. The budget cuts are another thing but we may be seeing that everywhere soon.

Justifying leaving for the enemy is the rot of culture. I dont want to see that at all.

Sure sure sure. The guy who said he only made the decision to leave hours after getting back to College Station right after using his family as a shield from any questions is now telling the truth on how everything went down.

This is complete horse shite. A&M was ready to build Schloss anything he wanted. He is now trying to save face and justify his shitty actions after getting roasted publicly for them.

It’s textbook sociopathic behavior. When called out they will always double down with an even bigger lie. They always have to make it seem like it’s everyone else’s fault and they had no choice but to do whatever shitty thing they did.

To your first point, evidence suggests you are wrong.

To your second… sociopath? Are you serious. Gottdamn you play the jilted lover so well. Do you understand how unstable you come across with this much hyperbole? “Midnight Mike Ellko” leaves in the middle of the night and you celebrate him. Schloss leave you and you call “sociopath”. Seriously unhinged man, and intellectually dishonest.

I’ll take Jake Arrieta’s word for it. He seems to suggest people who have an issue with Schloss have a different set of problems, and I am seeing the pattern for sure.

One former player comment is supposed to offset the numerous other former player comments that were negative? Uh huh…
