Weird things for a 17- or 18-year-old to be concerned about.

Maybe for you. Not for me, or for tens of thousands of other kids who attend Texas A&M for similar reasons.

So there's 5 years. What about the remaining 60?

A shitty football program.

I hope that come and go 5 years was worth the suck you now have for life.

After you showed us all who you were last week, you’re the single worst poster on this forum who isn’t worth any type of valid or thoughtful response. You won’t ever receive another one from me again.

Well let’s see. We don’t have homecoming, we don’t have cheerleaders, we don’t have a “hex rally”, we don’t worship a bovine and we don’t pass out dildos to the students.

And you don't have a championship.

And you won't.

5 years of blah blah whatever you said. Now a lifetime of suck. I feel bad for you.

10 more lifetimes - I would go to Texas every damn time. But thank God you don't have a hex rally amirite

This is bordering on being a legitimate problem. The nepotism exhibited by that fanbase would be legitimately harmful to society if there were more in positions of power. They will legitimately go out of their way to screw over alums/students/fans of certain institutions(texas esp) in real life situations, it's exceptionally deranged and bordering on psychopathic behavior that persists well into adulthood for many men that identify with that university. I refuse to do business with them because they're untrustworthy

Nahhh. This shite is a bridge too far, even for this cesspool. I experienced all of this when I moved to Houston fresh out of LSU.

First few years out of college, they talk a big game with the ring wearing and shite, but it when it comes down to it, even the loudest of them are, at worst, just a little weird. I have a lot of aggie friends and have worked with them, for them and they have worked for me. Other than being quick to let you know they are an aggie (and I am just as guilty as that with LSU as they are with A&M) they is no vast conspiracy to hire only their own. That's professionally. Personally, there are a few I have been around my entire adult life and are some of the best people I know. Even the ones that wear women's underwear.

He would have to give up his position as the arse't Manager at the car rental kiosk at the airport for this.

Yeah, definitely dying industries.

I mean, who requires healthcare, oil and gas, or airlines in 2024?

I meant the reputation of those industries

But I will admit that when it comes to universities with overarching conservative values, A&M is top tier. And those standards translate well into certain sectors as progressive leadership would be suboptimal

So y’all sound like a bunch of DEIer’s by hiring not the best candidate for the job but solely offer an Aggie former student. At least aggy graduates can always get a job at Buc-ee’s.
