This is going to be a brutally tough game that deserves the ABC Saturday night position.
Aggies better get their head right to play their A game again after a good win or Saturday will be a long night.
The two QB system appears to be working well.

If tweet fails to load, click here. The only people that want Ewers benched are the people that choose to use him as a scapegoat instead of realizing the actual issues with the team.

To be fair, South Carolina has played 3 of the Top 5 offenses in the SEC (Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama). Texas A&M has played 1 (LSU).
... and Bama was in Tuscaloosa.
Plus Kentucky at Kentucky.
By Saturday night it will be what, a month since we've played a home game?
Gonna be a lot of pent-up drunken energy by game time.
Let's see. Last home game was Ole Miss on the 5th. Saturday with be 2 November, so yeah, a month.

SC's offense is effective in fits and spurts. It's not great, at all, but if they get short fields off of TOs and a sound special teams game, SC wins the game.
Gamecocks and Aggies both pretty good at gaining turnovers - both pretty good at getting sacks - they are on different planets when it comes to protecting the QB and giving the ball away - distinct advantage Aggies -
we saw what can happen when Carolina doesn't have a turnover in a game and kinda protects Sellers - as with the OU score/outcome - it was the first game all season USC didn't give the ball away - and took 4 -

Hopefully A&M can grind out a win with its defense, running game, and winning field position. I'm worried about Carolina's pass rush making it a long night for whoever is under center.
A&M can withstand a loss to SC or Auburn and still get to Atlanta by winning the rest.

Go watch KSU from last year (Aggie OC's former school).
They made teams prepare for 2QBs ... in CFB with limited practice time that is an advantage.

question is “how are they gonna score points?”
The SC offense is shite.
They'll have to use the defense to generate short fields. SC's offense isn't shite - it can score. It's not great at long, sustained 75 yard drives - that is true. It can be very explosive and big-play dependent, though.
Again, if SC's defense pens up aTm's offense and gives short fields and advantageous field position, SC can absolutely score enough to win this game. They cannot, however, continually battle back from their own end zone. They're not built that way.
Loggains leaves an awful lot to be desired. But every game he has one or two absolutely beautiful long TD drives. Take a look at the beginning 3rd quarter against Bama, for example. He's much better as a play caller with a script for that very reason.
Sellers is the X factor. He's been scratching at one of those breakout, take the game over and establish himself kind of games. If he can play up to his potential on Saturday, Carolina could claim a big victory. If he gets outside of himself, forces the ball, and puts it on the ground, aTm will roll.
When Sellers is on, you see flashes of legit greatness. When he forces stuff, you see him whiff on 2pt conversions.

At night on the road for the new QB.
You now have some tape on his play
No doubt SC has a very good chance to get the W.
Reed is 3-0 as a starter this season though, so there's been tape out on him.
...which is why it was so shocking that LSU seemed to have no gameplan to stop him in the event he came in.

Wasn't enough for her to frick half of Columbia during her tenure as governor, she had to screw over the University in her way out.

I think both teams have good to great Defenses but A&M has a better Offense that is diverse. If USC can't get stops and turnovers I don't see how they put up enough points to win.
A&M is really good at shutting down the run and that's the strength of USC's O (and it isn't great). I could see a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs and then the A&M D will start to apply intense pressure on the QB because our DL is pretty damn sick and Elko is great at disguising blitzes. If you can't execute fast and precise passes things can get rough. A&M's D has a lot of speed as well and has handled mobile QB's well.
On the other side of the ball I could see USC giving A&M some fits with a pumped up crowd. Playcalling is key, just have to take what is given. Most of all do not turn the ball over.
If A&M can take care of the ball I see this as a 28-17 type of game. I think USC comes out strong early but as the game wears on it advantages A&M unless USC is up or A&M starts giving over the football. A few TO's and a quick start like a couple years ago though and USC can absolutely win. If both teams play well though I like A&M's chances as they are just a better rounded team without any glaring weaknesses. We also have tended to take over games late with physical play and just pound the rock, that can really take the air out of a hostile crowd. A&M has won 4 of 5 SEC games by double digits for a reason.

Yep ... she started it with a call from Rick Perry. I can't stand her arse either.
But we got Henry to offer to end it and Ray declined. Plus there is an A&M attorney, I forget his name but he's a partner at one of the big firms downtown, he lives on the lake ... he was threatening to sue if their permit was revoked. We were setting up to do battle but Ray shot it all down.
The Midnight Yell thing is fine. Tons of other places to do it though. The steps of the Statehouse is hollow ground. Where we also really had a problem with it was all the trash that was thrown down at that first one. At least we have a strong LEO presence there now ... citing litterbugs. They left so much the second time that the trashcans were overflowing. That's unacceptable.
Hopefully they'll be more respectful this time. They have been the last few times.
But yeah, taterhead Trikki Nikki eats arse.

I have had this game circled on the calendar for a while. SC is salty this year, and can surprise anyone. Night game at SC, coming off the high of beating LSU at home, Aggies finding a little bit of success this year... perfect recipe for the inevitable drop off the annual Aggie roller coaster.
We lose to SC, and it could spiral downhill to dropping games to both Auburn and Texas, leaving us at the all-too-familiar 8-4.
