It’s a set up.

If we win, we still haven’t played anybody.

If we lose, Texas must suck bad.
Welcome to being #1.

Georgia has not been focused lately. They just haven't looked like a great team. A good team, but not a great team. Who knows...maybe they wake up and play to their potential, or maybe we get put away by Texas in easy fashion.

No matter what happens Saturday, Texas does not have a long way to go. You have a very good team, and can play with anybody.

I just hope we can play with Texas, right now.

I think Texas will miss Derek Williams a lot in this game. He missed the Mississippi State game too and we could have used that 2nd level hammer. Mississippi was able to scrape for first downs on the ground.

LeFau starting at MLB makes a big difference.

Having Ant on one side and Simmons on the other is going to cause some big problems for the offenses we play.

........................................ LEFAU
............ANT ....................................................SIMMONS
.......................SORRELL COLLINS VASEK

Those dudes can defend the run and rush the passer. It won't be every down, and maybe it only on 3rd downs.. but that's a nasty defense.

Can sub in Moore, Broughton & Burke as well.. with Tyanthony and Gbenda

It will be an interesting week. I'm curious to see how PK designs it.

I don’t think we win. But this actually makes me feel better about the game. The sharp money isn’t moving the line in the middle of the week. Feels like it might be a set up.

It’s just happened so fast. Georgia was ripping off conference and national titles while Texas was going 5-7 and tripping over their dicks. We’ve been looking towards ‘24 hoping we had enough time to put something together so we don’t get embarrassed in this conference. First time Georgia (fricking Georgia!) comes to town Vegas has us -5? Don’t put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!

I do appreciate the kind words. Much respect to you, Georgia fans.

Georgia has won about 240 regular season games in a row (if you take Alabama out of the equation), and somehow, they are the underdog for the first time in about 1000 games.

That’s the reason I’m taking Georgia. Going with them until somebody besides Alabama beats them. Will definitely be one helluva game and I’m looking forward to watching it.

Texas as Home Team ATS
2024 3-1
2023 3-2-1
Total 6-3-1

Georgia as Away Team ATS
2024 0-2
2023 1-3
Total 1-5

But both have been the favorites in all 16 of those games.. we shall see what happens when Georgia is a road dog..

This game will not be close bet on Texas for the easy money. Georgia can't tackle and can't cover this game will be close to a 21 point loss for Georgia.

I don't gamble.. and I definitely don't believe all of the Georgia fans laying down for this game. How do I know? I live in Athens. Pretty much everyone I talk to about the game is cautious, but believes Georgia will win by 7-10 points.

This Georgia team aint it this year.

Poor tackling.
Undisciplined.
DBs look lost under new coach.
Oline has regressed.
Beck gets rattled.
No Alpha.

We're just a tier 2 team. I expect Texas to abuse our DBs and just throw bombs. Starks looks worse this year.

Georgia could find themselves at any moment. You guys have more talent on your roster than Texas does and a great HC who is proven in big games.

Meh… Vegas has been off this year. If Texas is who they think they are, they shouldn’t have any issues covering.

No way Georgia is a tier 2 team. I think you’re just used to last 5 years.

Also Ewers doesn’t throw a good deep ball so I expect Smart to have a bend-but-don’t-break type of gameplan that forces field goals and keeps us out of the end zone. And Texas has struggled scoring red zone TDs (going back to last year and OU game last week).

I think it’s going to be close and anyone’s game as the 4th quarter is winding down. Something like a 27-24 win… for one of us.

To me I hope both teams play a good game, no Alabama first half for The Dawgs and no Oklahoma first quarter for the Horns. I think each team has advantages in this match up, Georgia has not seen the overall speed across the skilled positions ( except QB ) that Texas has , and No Player on the Texas squad has played in a game like this. Will Jitters be a factor, either way a close game I think.
