I have to say personally this sort of shite is exactly why I hope the game never comes back. And I have been saying that from the day we left the Big 12.
The relationship between the two fanbases isn't fun, its toxic. There is no "fun" in walls of text, weird nicknames and the shitty things we say about each other that only fans of the program can even understand.
Both A&M and Texas don't need the money from the game, and both have schedules they are happy with (or claim to be) without the game, so frick it.
We don't owe shite to "college football" or "the college football fan." These are the sorts of front running pieces of shite who didn't even attend a university yet what to wrap their personal identity around the local team. They can go frick themselves.
