Well, the Longhorn fans certainly haven't made a very good first impression...on this forum anyway. Sooner fans, you wanna give it a try?

Anyhow, some Longhorn fans keep throwing out that they have the best "overall athletic department in the country". I guess they're basing that claim on Texas winning the Learfield cup in 2021 (awarded by the NACDA). Does some SEC fans on here that are more informed than me on the subject and uh...DON'T have Paranoid Delusional Schizoaffective Disorder wanna chime in and clarify and/or elaborate on this claim?

Even if it's true...gees, it certainly has done wonders for their football program! Maybe their women's badminton team or their ice-curling team has excelled? ... just curious.

The make a shitload of money and they haven't really won much. They have an enormous fan base...alums and sidewalks

I can affirm that, yes they do have a powerhouse athletic program that will be competitive at the top of the SEC in most every sport. I cannot however determine if I have Paranoid Delusional Schizoaffective Disorder through self diagnosis, and I have never been tested, so

Eh, you probably don't. But some of their fans certainly do. They beat UGA in a bowl game 5 years ago, so they, of course, own us. And they will not take into account all the injuries that UGA had in that game, but they WILL, of course, throw out how they would have beat Bama if their QB had not got hurt. I guess injuries count for some teams and NOT others.

If it’s a texan claim…….it’s inflated. They can’t help it, they were all born with the blimp gene.

You mean the same way it is OK for you to bring up being injured vs Texas but Bama cannot bring up injuries in the game they lost to Georgia? I think all fans tend to do this.

How do they stack up against the Aggies national championship meat cutting team?

Not good, I am afraid.

Remember, on issues pertaining to vegetable, animal, and mineral, A&M is the very model of a modern Major-General.

Is it really true that the Aggies won a NC in meat cutting? For real?

Meat judging? That’s a new one to me. Does A&M prepare students to be butchers or do they aspire to rate fast food burgers for the local paper?

Think about it, Stanford won this thing for like 30+ years

Now let me ask 2 simple questions

#1 How many CFB BCS or CFP Natty's has Stanford won?
#2 How many NCAA MCBB Natty's has Stanford won?

It is like the consolation prize for schools with money!

Utx - autism, IHIOGA they can count to potato on the 40 acres.

Utx does not have a womens gymnastic team?

Sooners have women gymnastics and they are Top 5
Missouri has a team in the Top 15
TAMU has no women gymnastics team
(not really a surprise, at least they have equestrian team)
South Carolina has no team but they do have equestrian team

Utx - autism has no W gymnastics or W equestrian

They must hate women
