Good luck to him. Hope he finds an offense better suited to his skill set. The man beat Florida on the road and I'll be thankful for that.

We've got Gatewood and Allen pushing for a chance at playing time. I wouldn't be surprised if the coaches also weren't looking forward to a change.

He needs someone to develop him as a passer. Kentucky never developed his arm, just ran some bastardized form of single wing football.

I won't be surprised that Allen ends up with the starting job. I think he's a better pure QB than Gatewood, but that might depend on the offense we run with a new OC.

Id like to see Gatewood do well but I honestly just dont think he is as good as we (Auburn) wanted him to be. He had a few good plays for us but overall, just didnt look great. I wrote it off to lack of playing time especially with our starters. I thought he would be the starter at Kentucky. The fact that he wasnt, told me a lot
