Rich coming from a fan of the program that lost to GA State and BYU AT HOME, and had to break a 3-game losing steak to VANDY to become bowl eligible. You should really just stay off this board. You’re embarrassing yourself.

Stay off the board? Why? Are you triggered?

We actually became bowl eligible after our win against Mizzou.

Already had 6 wins before we played Vandy. Being a troll is one thing but try not to be a dumb arse one.

Pretty sure most people know the difference between 1953 and 1980

Who the hell had a color TV in 1953?

quote:

as late as 1964 only 3.1 percent of television households in the U.S. had a color set

Most folks didn't have color TV until the late 60s. Besides the expense, there wasn't much being broadcast in color until the mid to late 60s. Kinda like the switch to digital and high fed, it took quite a while to adopt.

But yes, only poor and/or cheap folks didn't own a color TV come 1980.

This is completely wrong. We were already bowl eligible.

1980 is getting played out, but damn you don't realize how long ago that was until its put into perspective.

I started school the year after, and I now have a son whom graduated last year.

So over 2 generations ago? Damn I'm getting old.

This rookie card signaled the end of the last time UGA was relevant.
