The only two states you can even make an argument for being ahead of Florida are Texas and Cali. At worst Florida is #3

I want what you are smoking.
Everyone talks about recruiting out of Florida.

princess you are right, and i too wonder what Lew is smoking. Ga is a notch or two below fla in h.s. recruits. i don't think many sane, sober people would even argue this.
as for UT, i do think it's ominous for uga. i'll never forget the impact losing coleman, grant and lewis had on uga. it only takes a few ga recruits choosing ut over uga to hurt us.
(in defense of the Jamal Lewis thing, we had Jasper Sanks targeted that year and it was unlikely we'd get both. i don't think many people could have predicted the discrepancy between their respective careers.)

#1 Florida
#2 Texas
#3 Cali
#4 Georgia
#5 Louisiana or Pennsylvania
Jersey might put out a couple of good players every other year, but Florida, Texas, and Cali all put out 5 guys as good as or better than Moreno every single year.

I believe that a recent audit of SEC 1st and 2nd strings showed the most players overall came from Georgia. I was rather shocked by that myself.
Oh, and wake me when all these 2011 guys actually sign with UT.

Adamwilson are you just homer to all things georgia?
You "dont want" a top 100 play at a potential position of need with starter leaving within the next 2 years
And Georgia over FLA and Cali lolol
in terms of states i have it
Florida
Texas (easily numero uno for qbs though)
Cali
then Georgia/Louisiana/Virginia in pretty much a tie
