VOLS have a bye, so it’s just the next one on our slate.

Regardless, KY likely going in dry. A lot of folks are underestimating Kentucky. I didn’t think blue had a chance versus Georgia or maybe Alabama, but think they could hang with just about anyone else.

Agreed

Kentucky is a solid football team and has a great shot at winning out.

We'll see. I think they should, but they typically let the fans down a time or two during the season. I think the MSU game will tell us a lot about this teams mind set after the bye.

I will also say this. Tennessee is a better team than I expected. Not sure if it's Heupel or just sheer will, but your team has no quit in it.

To Phil’s credit, we haven’t seen a VOLS team play more than 3 quarters of football since Fulmer… so when he says “til the end,” he means circa 45 minute mark.

I give props to Tennessee. I didn't think Hooker would be a fit after seeing him at VTech. HE's really caome along in Hype's offense. You've got the mix of run and pass, and some good schemes. Our D will need to be hyper focused, especially with the quick-snap game. I like that the game is at home for the Cats, and I think we should be able to wear down your D as the game goes. As long as the Cats keep the big plays away from the Vols, we should get the W. I am by no means counting it a win yet, though... no way.

Now, if Milton were starting, that would change things quite a bit.

Cats ground game should take the game over in the 4th quarter.

There is zero depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Can Kentucky beat Tennessee two years in a row? Hasn't happened since Jimmy Carter was president.

1st year Heupel was in the game until the end against #11 UF, #13 Ole Miss and #4 Bama whereas Dooley, Butch, Pruitt had no chance from the start.

Do you follow Tennessee football even a little?

2015, Butch Jones had the lead late in the 4th quarter in Tuscaloosa. BAMA had to convert 2, 3rd down and longs to extend the drive and Derrick Henry finished it off to pull out the victory. BAMA went on to win another NC.

Butch Jones and Lane Kiffin both took BAMA to the end of the game in Tuscaloosa.

Saturday night was a 4th quarter azz-kicking and has no place in comparison.

No, we just like to hog the ball if we can. Limit possessions for the other team.

We have to worry about MSU not UT. Not till next week anyway. One at a time.
