Talent is why UGA is favored to win. We're hardly bereft of talent but you're much deeper than we are. If it were pure coaching Pruitt would win hands down.
The discussion is about if Kirby is a good head coach or not. Talent is only one part of such a discussion, and its the opposite of an excuse. Its a positive.

Give me a shred of evidence to back this up.
What was the talent level of Georgia State or BYU vs UT last year?
How bout Indiana? Took a freaking
miracle to beat em.

We have a lot of super bowls, it would seem. We win a lot of super bowls too, it would seem.

Stetson is breaking records against the Viles. Dawg D will score 3 times.

Because you say so.

They have some really nice pieces. Pruitt is doing work there. Their OLine is among the best in the conference and they have some really good players on defense. If Kirby or the players take them lightly it will be a very bad day for us.
Geronimo is the great negater of talent.

No, because they likely have a better grasp of the game than you.

Here is the interesting thing about Bennett. In 12 JUCO games, he threw for 1,800 yards, 16 TDs and 14 Ints, completing 54% of his passes. That's 153 yards per game against JUCO competition. So far at UGA, he's averaged 225 yards per game, thrown 3 TDs and 0 Ints with a 65% completion rate.
What has changed? He had pretty pedestrian numbers in JUCO with a ton of Ints...now he is protecting the ball and greatly improved his accuracy and decision making. That just seems a bit odd for him to have that kind of jump against what should be better competition.

You continue to talk about “grasp of the game” despite never showing you have a “grasp of the game”, especially in regards to uga.

What has changed? Sample size? Teams over playing the run so DBs cannot take a chance on the INT?

It’s like they completely forgot about being physically dominated by a 9 year old program because mUh WiNnInG sTrEaK.

He's always had a gunslinger mentality. I would imagine he just tried to make plays in JUCO where Kirby is all about ball security. I can really only think of 3-5 throws where I thought he shouldn't have tried that.

That’s a great mentality for that Air Raid we heard about all offseason Monken was bringing to UGA. So far it’s just rehashing of run 1st and nothing over 15 yards that Fromm ran. So much for innovation in Athens.

If the weather is good UGA wins, if the weather is bad VOLS win.

Who said it was gonna be an “air raid/no run” offense?

Good to see that you didn't pay attention to what most UGA fans said after the hire and you haven't watched either of our first two games.

All the hype was for a vertical open passing game, 4 wide and stretching the field. So far it’s benn run the scat backs up the middle, send the big back outside the tackles and rarely see a route or rarer a throw past 15 yards. I expected Monken to improve the WR play and he has doubled the number of reliable receivers from 1 to 2 but that open passing game that UGA fans were hot and heavy for must be in a different playbook.

You have some terrible reading comprehension per that first article.
If you knew as much about uga as you claim, you would know Kirby never said uga is going air raid.
Our deep ball throwing QB quit. Any person who knows the game understands it would be dumb to not adjust to a new qb. Perhaps you don’t know shite about the game as we all assume?

Both of those articles only state that we brought in an Air Raid offensive guy. They even said it would have to help us with the deep passing but none of it said anything about being a pure Air Raid offense. Admittedly, I only skimmed over both articles so maybe they said something else.
He's taken shots deep and has opened up the passing game where we have at least one receiver open each play. I'd say he's living up to expectations after only two games and no spring to install.

Yep...you have to adjust to the personnel you have. As it is, here are the SEC QB Yards Per attempt rankings:
1. Mac Jones, 13.41
2. Matt Corral, 11.92
3. Kyle Trask, 9.63
4. Jarrett Guarantano, 8.32
5. Myles Brennan, 8.22
6. Connor Bazelak, 8.17
7. Stetson Bennett, 7.91
8. K.J. Costello, 7.87
9. Terry Wilson, 7.09
10. Kellen Mond, 7.04
11. Feleipe Franks, 6.44
12. Shawn Robinson, 6.38
13. Bo Nix, 6.12
14. Collin Hill, 5.84
15. Ken Seals, 4.87
With the running game Georgia has...8 ypa is respectable.
