The uniform actually looks pretty cool, IMHO.
I just think the gimmicky uni's backfire a lot.
Take this from someone who knows about it. Bama 08...want to say UF with the black helmets either the same year or 09. Black pants against UF in 98, etc.
Ask Notre Dame what their all-time record is when they bust out the green jerseys. I don't have it right in front of me but, I want to say at one point they were 0-21 or something like that when they wore the green jerseys.

Man those things are awful. Not that I like the orange by any means, but I like seeing the contrast of our whites against UT's home orange with the backdrop of all the orange in neyland.
These greys just look hideous and out of place. This is now the 2nd color jersey UT has worn in recent years that isn't one of their school colors. Hell might as well wear red at home once, why not?

We're not winning that game. Jones is trying to generate some excitement in a time of great sucktitude to keep the fans from totally giving up. I don't think anyone expects us to beat Georgia.

I don't think this is a Butch League move. I think those uniforms have immense power, a power who's is only exceeded by its mystery.

This was the product of players lobbying for it. They even had a hand in the design. A lot of it has to do with showing players that you're listening, especially after all ours have been through and yet another HC. I prefer our orange but this one has grown on me and I understand the reasons behind finally agreeing to do it. Apparently players had asked for years and been ignored.

To appease the critics Butch Jones should tell everyone addidas made them do it. This team is the last team in the SEC that needs to be messing with their uniform. If it's intended to pump up the crowd they need to be more focused on playing the game.

Nice unis but they look more blue than gray.
