If we are honest, Nike is overrated.

This deal is gonna be one that'll be copied. Lots of NIL / Collective stuff included.
I hate saying this because it is utk, but Danny White is the best AD in the league, and maybe the nation.

He was the perfect guy to transition into this new corporate landscape of college athletics.

Nike severely underpaid and underused the Vols. Adidas made the Vols their flagship. This wasn’t a tough decision.

Goddamn adidas sucks. It seems the Jersey doesn’t fit over the pads correctly. They’re a soccer brand and their fan apparel sucks too. Cheap and lazy.

Under Armour makes the best stuff to me, but that company will likely be as relevant as And 1 in a few years.

Bama should be using them.

Correct. Tennessee currently receives a little over $5.5 million a year in cash, apparel, and gear form their Nike deal. The new Adidas deal will raise that to $20 million per year.

With a big chunk going directly to the athletes.

Yep, the extra 15 million per year is gonna be huge in the revenue sharing era. Not to mention the Adidas NIL student athlete deals.

Also, UT will have all creative control just as they did with Nike.
