Great point...haven't won an SEC Championship in 25 years, and still lead the conference in attendance. That makes it even more impressive.

Makes sense, this was Tennessee's year!
ETA: these numbers are always such horseshite. Certain schools that will remain nameless played in front of a lot half-emptied home stadiums this season are still claiming 90% capacity.

Most were predicting 9-3 preseason...but we couldn't handle the pressure of playing in front of dozens of fans in Columbia and wound up 8-4.

Oh wow. I couldn't imagine selling 86,000 tickets for a game. I mean...not since 1980, when our capacity went over 91,000. Wait...Oklahoma is back down to 80,000 seats since 2019...so now, they are more in line with South Carolina.
2024 SEC Football Stadiums Ranked by Capacity:
1. Kyle Field - 102,733

5. Bryant-Denny Stadium - 100,077

7. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium - 88,548
8. Jordan-Hare Stadium - 88,043

Which school was it that was counting the teams, trainers, etc., in their totals?

That's a lot of sad/angry Tennesseans most of the time giving what their program has been like.

Congrats to tenner for winning something, because we know they won't be winning anything in football, basketball, or baseball anytime soon.
