The refs turned the game into a wrestling match. It was a pure hackathon. Hand checking and holding to a whole different level

I'm glad that shite is over. One of the worst jobs I've seen by officials all season.

Am I the only one who would rather watch that than 2 teams shooting 40 free throws each? Some of you dudes need to let your nuts drop.

There is a balance that SEC crews can never seem to find.

Fair, but given the choice between the two...

It only got so shite cause nothing physical got called so both teams leaned into it. Holding bumping etc was all legal

That crew needs fired… horrible on both ends

This is where I'm at and why the no call on Okpara, that if we're honest was a very clear foul on Broome, didn't break my heart. They called it like that the entire game.
I'll take that over a a never ending free throw marathon all day

Not really. Gainey got his 5th foul on a weaker call on a Broome rebound the very next play. It was a horrible sequence by the refs.

That sequence hurt, but we got away with our fair share of "physicality" throughout the game. Dude's were getting mugged on both sides and it wasn't getting called. I don't like the loss, but I'm ok with the officiating as long as it's evenly called both ways and I thought it was about as evenly called for a road team that you can ask for.

I 100% expected a makeup call after the missed Okpara foul/turnover. Instead they compounded their mistake and gave Auburn 1 and 1 and fouled out our 2nd best scorer.

Tennessee pushed off on 95% of rebounds all game.
Almost none called.
It was pathetic by the refs. That one call was just one of them. Auburn did not score on that possession and have it right back.
No impact on game.

It is possible to not have 88 combined field goals in a game yet still have a game where players aren’t mugged violently all game long. In terms of offensive efficiency, Auburn came into the game ranked #1 and UT came in ranked #42. The two teams had a combined 42 points at the half 22-20. THAT happens because of how a game is officiated.

That’s broome’s whole game. He ended up with 1 foul. That’s how he rebounds all his misses. Come on.

In TBA I think you're right. We're not getting that call on the road though
